Hello fellow Steemians. Hope we’re doing okay. I’ve not been really active for some days due to school’s resumption and the workload. But I’m glad to participate I n this week’s contest. I’d like to thank @artist1111 for this beautiful contest. I won’t forget to also thank @adunni for inviting me to participate. Let’s delve into this together. Shall we?
Rice and bean pudding (moi moi)

This is special to me because I am beginning to go back to what I hated. Apart from being healthy, it is fast to cook. It has no colouring or flavour in it.
Also, it is a biit heap to cook, which means anyone can afford to cook this food. Another reason for choosing this food is because what I complemented it with.
Moi moi (pudding bean)
A few years ago, I had become real enemies with moi moi. This was when I gained admission into the university newly. I had classes till evening that day, and I can tell you how exhausted I was.
As a student, and an economical one at that, I thought it wise to buy something that’d fill me up a little. I bought moi moi from this vendor, and it was as bad and cold as anything I could never imagine. After developing nausea for it, I completely stopped having it, even the ones we made at home. It was that bad. But today, surprisingly, I bought a very hot one from a vendor that came to the typing press I went to.
I patronised her because of her smile. She was joking with the people there, and never insulted any of her customers wile she waited patiently for her money. She was also bold enough to tell people the health benefits of moi moi. This, I couldn’t resist. And I went ahead in patronising her.

I could feel this love for mankind, and a sense of belonging. I also felt humbled and challenged by her act.
Not many could display this prowess by this lady not minding that she was hawking. And the joy she had in making her own money was a source of inspiration to me. So, I was inspired and challenged to be good at what I do, and be proud of what I find myself doing.

In conclusion, eating healthy is of essence. The food we eat could make us relate with people either for good or for bad. Just like the way this lady prepared and presented her product, I enjoyed it, and got satisfied for the benefits I stood to gain.
