In all thy doing, never forget to know the importance of socialisation with people.

Hello fellow steemians. Hope we’re doing just fine today. Once again, I want to thank @suboohi for always organising this contest in this community. It’s another week to tell a story with a picture. And I’d love to share mine with you. Can I?

_{Steemit hangout in my state}

On the 23rd of December 2023, I had the opportunity to meet with some of the influential people on this platform. It was actually our hangout in my state for the steemians here. It was a big surprise to get to meet with some of the influential personalities on the platform, which is something I didn't think would happen. I met people like @ngoenyi, @okere-blessing, @bossj23, @mesola, and other steemians.

These personalities all turned up, and this was where I had the chance to meet them one-on-one. I also had the chance of meeting with other steemians, like kids, and this was a moment shared with joy.

Everybody works, but it’s good to take out some time to sit with friends and loved ones occasionally to strengthen the relationship among these people. That’s why meeting with people of importance, like family and friends, is always of importance to me.

This did not only afford me the chance to see them, it brought a sense of belonging to everyone. Seeing that we belonged somewhere as a group of people to eradicate poverty is joyful and encouraging.

The best part is that young people, including kids are ready to be responsible for their future. Imagine kids who begin now to learn the art of writing, and the need to start saving up for the future, it would be very easy on their parents when offering the needed assistance to their kids.

Again, I was surprised to see a girl who repairs phones and laptops right there in the hangout. It is always challenging and beautiful to see girls do what is known to be done by guys mostly. When she introduced herself and what she does, I was just carried away by that determination to do something different, and she was proud of it.

This is the kind of people that motivate me to do even more daring things, because they realise, they can do anything they set their heart to. I enjoyed every bit of it and learned from everyone there.

Making new friends is somehow odd for me, because I always find it difficult to socialise, but the hangout was different in that, I could just walk up to anybody and strike a conversation and vice-versa.

This is my picture, and my story to tell today.
