Hi friends, this is another wonderful engagement contest topic that allows us to share our food diary activities for the day. Not just that this would help us maintain a healthy post-delivery void of plagiarism but would also throw more light on the nutritional value of these meals. I will be adhering strictly to using the contest tips as required.

My Breakfast - Porridge Beans

This is one meal that has continually found its way into the family times a week due to the children's preference for it. They on their own always ask for it each time there is a delay in preparing this meal.

This meal has been a greater source of plant protein among the numerous meal available to us here. It is known to contain a higher amount of proteinous nutrients which helps in bodybuilding and replenishment of worn-out tissues.

For sure, this meal should be recommended to everyone as we all need to replenish our body tissues that must have been worn out during the cause of our daily activities.

Lunch - Eba(Garri floor) & Vegetable Soup

This is another great meal I've found favor with. I have to come to a stage where I give preference to vegetables and all that surrounds them. However, my lunch was served this way with a delicious vegetable soup and Eba (Garry floor).

It came out yummy. This is a meal that aids digestion and brings balance to one's diet. Some of the nutrients found in the consumption of pumpkin leaves include; Calcium, Potassium, Iron, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Protein, and Folic Acid. This is a leaf with the presence of almost all the core nutrients needed for human well-being.

Some of the health benefits likely to be observed by the intake of vegetable soup and Eba include;

  1. Source of Energy from the Garri floor competent of this meal which is rich in carbohydrates.
  2. Rich in antioxidants which simply means we are such some internal sanity with the presence that exhibits anticancer, anti-oxidative, and superoxide effects.
  3. Pumpkin leaves help to secure or protect our liver from the presence of hepatoprotective properties (liver-protecting abilities).
  4. Helps in aiding blood production. This is one of the commonest we can be sure of. Due to the presence of iron and other nutrients, this is made possible.
  5. It helps in the digestive system, reduces stress, and as well helps in weight loss.

After looking at the super nutritional content and health benefits, one can recommend this meal to anyone.

Dinner - Stewed Rice & Chicken

This is my favorite meal any day and time. Sometimes I keep imagining how long can I stay without consuming this meal. I tried abstaining from this meal for about 48 hours and guess what, on the third day, I knew sometime wasn't right somewhere with my feeding habit😊😊😊.

We all know that rice happens to be a major contributor to this meal and with a dominant carbohydrate giver to the system. Aside from this, we have tomatoes with the presence of vitamin A and vitamin C in large amounts. Vitamin A is a source of antioxidants to the body whereas vitamins are an immune booster of the body.

It is a larger source of lycopene which helps in the fight against some of the known cancer in the human body like prostate cancer. It is known to bring about mental and physical health and stability to humans.

Not forgetting, the chicken included as a means of chops and easy passage of meal through the esophagus is an appetizer both in sight and consumption. It is a source of animal protein to mean. The function of a protein cannot be overemphasized given its body nutrients.

I will greatly recommend the consumption of Stewed rice to anyone. The health benefits are numerous and in all, we have to consume this meal in moderation.

Conclusion

It was nice to have consumed these different classes of food given to the contest topic. For my breakfast, it was largely protein, while my lunch was a mix of carbohydrates and Vegetables. Dinner came with vegetables as well carbohydrates and other mineral nutrients. I would recommend everyone to also have a taste of my meal bearing in mind the required moderation needed.
