Beautiful day to you all my Steemit Family. I want to thank @artist1111 for organizing such an amazing contest. We all ought to practice Healthy habits in order to ensure a healthy life.

INTRODUCTION

Money is not a requirement to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. But we have simple activities and meals we can engage in and keep our lives healthy.

WHAT’s YOUR FAVORITE FORM OF EXERCISE

My Favorite form of exercise is swimming. There are some styles we used in swimming like Freestyle, Backstroke, sidestroke etc which helps us work our different muscles as we move our body through the water.
Swimming is a full body workout as it involves not only the legs but the upper body, the muscles and the cardiovascular system as well. Swimming has soo many benefits to our health.

  • It increases our heart rate without stressing the body
  • Research has it that Swimming lowers blood pressure and controls blood sugar.
  • With swimming your can expand your lung capacity and gain control over your breathing, so it is good for people with Asthma.
  • Swimming is very efficient in burning calories. For those who want to lose weight.
  • It also helps build strength and endurance etc.

A very quick and healthy breakfast is bread and egg. It is a high calorie food which does supply our body with energy that can carry us the whole day. Bread and egg contains approximately 250-350 calories and by eating this the body gets a lot of energy. This breakfast also contains protein in abundance which help keeps the muscles healthy. A disadvantage of eating bread and egg daily is rapid weight gain. But it may be an advantage to those who want to add some weight.
Recommended bread is bread made from whole grain because it has less calories and more of fiber which aids in digestion, controls increase in weight and controls blood sugar level etc.

HOW DO YOU MANAGE STRESS EFFECTIVELY

I have several ways of dealing with stress and it always works for me.
Firstly, I go for swimming which helps releases endorphin a hormone that reduces the stress hormones and makes one feels good. It increases positivity and brings about a sense of happiness and well-being. Other exercises as Dancing, walking etc. I do when I am stressed helps relieve me.

Secondly I ensure to eat a healthy diet because as we all know a balance diet can boost one’s immune system helping to repair damaged tissues. This diet will help provide extra energy need to deal with stress.
Thirdly, I get enough sleep. While sleeping our brain processes our emotions. This time is needed soo our mind can recognize and react in the right way.
