Serving humanity may seem easy when we say it in one sentence, but when we try to do it in real life, we truly realize its importance. But don’t worry, because you and I, we all have the ability to serve humanity. The little things we do in our daily life can also count as acts of kindness.

You might have heard that humanity is the foremost and most important religion. And it’s true! Serving humanity, helping others, and empathizing with their pain is the real purpose of life. Now, the question is: how can we serve humanity? I’ll try to share a few thoughts that come to my mind right now, so stay with me.

We often forget that just listening can be a way of helping someone. For example, if your friend is going through a hard time and wants to share their feelings, just by listening, you can ease their stress. What’s the most valuable thing in life? Gold? Silver? No. It’s time! If you gift someone your time, you’ve given them the most precious gift of all.

I believe that you don’t need to be mature or wise to serve humanity; you don’t even need to do huge acts. At any age, even a small deed can count. I remember a story I once read: a young boy was walking down the street with his mother. He saw a blind man struggling to cross the road. The young lad asked his mum’s permission and helped the man across. This just shows that to serve humanity, you don’t need to be older or do something big. All you need is a kind heart and pure intentions.

Many of us think, “I don’t have money, how can I help?” But you should know that your knowledge is also a priceless gift. If you teach someone a skill, they can benefit from it for life. For instance, if someone has succeeded in life due to a particular skill, they should consider passing it on. Through sharing knowledge, you can contribute to humanity.

Another beautiful way to serve humanity is through ongoing charity. This means doing something that continues to benefit people even after you’re gone. For instance, installing a water cooler in an orphanage, buying a fan for a mosque, or planting a tree are just a few examples of countless good deeds.

Sometimes, serving humanity isn’t just about helping others, but also improving oneself. If you become a better person, your principles and actions inspire others. I once heard a man at a seminar share how he had spent his life smoking, but when he discovered his son started smoking, he quit immediately. Influenced by his father, his son quit too. The man wanted to set a better example for his children.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that to serve humanity, what’s needed is passion, not money. Many people think only money can help. But your time, your effort, your love – these are all priceless. Sometimes, a small gesture, a smile, or a kind word can mean the world to someone.
