It feels as if hospitals with you are still 'caring' about people. With us they are getting rare, you are not allowed to visit the ER without permission of a doctor, an appointment with a specialist takes in average 3 months and each test takes months too. They prefer you to have your chemo at home and pay for the hospital bed and 'great' service. If complaints, something went seriously wrong the patient can drop dead. Doctors are protected and have their own court where doctor play judge.

Woooooo, we complain about our hospitals but what you described it seems we are getting the best treatment without even knowing it. Some times some nurses and doctors can act like crack heads but we still got many acting as mini angels with their main goal being to see their patient get better.

Consider yourself lucky. It's not about the best beds, uniforms or expensive meds but about caring. If you work with people, especially sick people,, those stressed,in pain, upset you need to be human in the first place. Trust me if an angel talks to you, you already feel better not if the docto says: I give you 10 mimutes at most, what do you want and what did you do to treat yoursel? Your time is up. Next patient.
