SEC-S17 /W2| "What if you were the president of your country?"

Firstly, I'll start be giving my definition of a president.

A president is one who oversees the affairs of a country. A president is the first Leader of a country, A president is usually the number one citizen of a country and he is in charge of making crucial decisions and has the ultimate say in decisions concerning the growth well-being of the state.

If I were president of my country, My top three priorities;

1. Healthcare.
2. Education.
3. Economic Stability.

Healthcare: As a president the Health of my citizens will be my priority because I know "health is wealth". I will do a lot in place to maintain the health of my citizens like; a) Provision of proper health care facilities in all government hospitals in the 36 states of my country.

b) Establishment of free medical centers especially in rural areas where villagers can access proper health care, this will help to curb death due to lack of proper medical facilities.

c) Provision of free vaccines for babies and children to prevent diseases like tuberculosis, polio and so on. These vaccines will be distributed in hospitals and administered by public health officials.

2.Education: In the educational sector, firstly, I'll create awareness on the need on education especially in rural areas where they aren't exposed on the need to get educated.

Secondly, I'll provide free, fair and compulsory education for the less privileged and employee well educated tutors to put them true.

Thirdly, I'll provide adequate facilities to ensure proper and smooth learning and I'll ensure the environment is conducive and serene for learning.
Lastly, I'll place a board of directors who oversee the affairs of the school and ensure smooth running of the school and also monitor the activities going on and give feedback when necessary.

1. Economic Stability: In order to maintain economic stability, I'll first of all strike a balance between naira and dollars. This will be done by increasing the value of naira.

The second step I'll take is to export more than we import, this will help to increase the value of our currency as we won't solely depend on imported goods and this could help naira appreciate too.

The third step is to encourage dependence and appreciate of our products in the market and not depending on imported goods. This will also improve our currency to value.

Undoubtedly, the healthcare systems and education sure needs improvement, I'll just give a run down of the steps since I already explained it above which is a coincidence.

Healthcare: 1) Improved medical facilities and practitioners to ensure proper health care.

1. Provision of free and compulsory vaccines for babies and children ranging from age(0-8) this will help curb some disease affecting babies and children.
2. Provision of at least 4 healthcare centers in each local government of a state. This will enable accessibility for people in both urban and rural areas.
3. Scholarship for students in the medical sector to further education abroad, this will help in expanding their knowledge and improving their skills.

In the educational sector, I'll also put a lot of effort such as;

1. Embarking on Public Enlightenment in rural areas especially, educating them on the need to pursue education and the advantages of education in this digital age.

2. Establishing of schools in rural areas and employing of qualified teachers to equip the students mentally.

3. Providing the necessary social amenities to ensure safe and secured environment. Learning in a serene environment will be one of my priorities.

Well, the possible challenges I could face could be;

1. Lack of adequate finance.
2. Lack of people with the same vision and goals, I can't possibly achieve everything alone without the help of people with like minds.
   These are the only two challenges I think I could possibly face.

Yes, I will do everything possible to stop corruption in my country and make it as civilized as other countries, This will foster peace, security, love and social stability in the country.

I'll also put more effort in the tourist attractions of my country thereby inviting investors and this will yield revenue for the country.

Being a President of my country will be of added advantage to every citizen, because I make sure everyone benefits in one or more ways from my governance. It promise to be the best so far.
