Weekly Contest - Best Diary Game | A Sunday well spent.

Dear diary,

Yesterday sunday, April 17th was a stress-free day. Though I got to do little activities, it wasn't as stressful as other days.

I woke up around 6:30am after snoozing my alarm for 6:00am. It was a Sunday and I wanted to be in church for first service which starts by 8:00am. After waking up, I said a little prayer, proceeded to wash my mouth then had a quick breakfast of cereals and prepared for church.

I usually attend the church on Campus which is Victory Chapel but I was asked by my cousin to accompany him to another protestant church he was invited to. The sermon which was centered on salvation was very insightful and understanding and I look forward to hearing more of such words.
The first service ended around 10:02am and newcomers like myself were asked to wait behind. We were warmly welcome and briefed on the activities in the church and the procedures to follow in case we wanted to be full members. We were also gifted with a book as a welcome gift from the pastor.

After the service, he headed home and I went back to school 'cause I stay in hostel. I reach my hostel around 11:31am and decided to take a quick nap.
I woke up from my nap by 2:00pm, took my bath, had lunch and went out to get a textbook I needed from a friend in another hostel. She was a close friend and my reading partner on some occasions. She had a chemistry textbook I needed which she wasn't using at the moment so I got it from her and used it as an aid in preparation for my next papers which is CHM 213 (Organic Chemistry).

I left my friends hostel by 5:00pm to come prepare and get ready for night class. I'm not one who's very keen on night classes but yesterday was different 'cause I needed to assist one of my mates in some areas in chemistry. I got ready and left for the classes by 7:09pm. What we basically do during night classes is reading. Those who prefer a quiet environment at night or can't stay in their various homes come out for night classes to read.

We read together and I further explained to her the areas she found difficulty in understanding. While explaining to her, I realized it helped me to have a better understanding of it all. We read through the night and later had a quick rest by 3:00am.
It was truly a day we'll spent.✨
