1 picture 1 Story Week #46
Greetings to everyone in this community, how are you all doing; I trust great. It's your girl @tripple-e from Nigeria and I'm here to participate in this "one picture one story" contest organized by @suboohi. And I said kudos to you.
Hmmmm! The picture I'm about to share is very pathetic. Life happens.... I'm not even comfortable posting it but it is necessary I do for someone to take heed.
This 👆 happened yesterday in my locality about a young man who has been terrorizing the community, vandalizing and stealing cables that got the community to be in constant darkness and the acts has been repeated for months; the community people would contributes money to buy the cables and when it fixed, the same issue will occur.
Until yesterday when he embarked on his usual activities; he got electrocuted and died at the spot, as you can see from the picture. And I remembered an adage that my people use to say "six days are for a thief but the seventh day is for the owner.
But instead of the people weeping and crying; they were relieved. Some even removed their phones snapped and made videos to show the kind of person he was, to the extent that people were happy getting rid of him. For instance: I was not at the scene when it happened, I only heard but I saw the photos and videos on social media.
According to one of the occupants in the community that spoke in a video that was posted online, "God has decided to answer our prayers by exposing him" he said, and I was like what! just speechless.
Sometimes life will give us lemonade but you can actually make lemon juice out of it, never you allow life to offer you nothing.
If you are a Christian you will be familiar with this parable about a certain rich man who was embarking on a journey and decides to share talents to his servants; he gave five talents to the first, three talents to the next and then one talent to the last. He gave them according to their capabilities.
Likewise God, He knows what you can do, your strength and all of that; all you need do is to search yourself, look beyond the physical, and think outside the box, believe you me you'll discover something that you are so good at. So don't make yourself a burden and a liability to people.

Imagine such a disgracing dead, truly six days is for the thief and one day is for the owner.
I pray that this same thing should befall the people or person that has been stealing cable from our street transformer every two months. After stealing it they will now ask us to contribute money to buy the cable and fix back so that we can have electricity.

I will say that he was doing this due to unemployment or he may be lazy to find a job. Nowadays, there is high inflation rate and everyone is involved in bad things; robbing and stealing. In our country mobile snatching is on peak, my brother's mobile phone was also stolen on gun point.
I totally agree with you my friend, but the inflation is affecting every middle class man. So I would say, he was just a lazy type. Thank you for stopping by
Very sad, I must say. I don't even know what to say, but is good you share this, it may serve as a lesson.
