This may sound very weird but it's actually 80% of the world's entertainment industry. Majority worldwide has in one way or the other come across a movie or TV show that portrays a funny scene that tickles one's fancy, even making one laugh uncontrollably because of the humour involved.
If you're to check social Medias like Facebook, WhatsApp, tiktok, Instagram and twitter, most content creators on these platforms ensure they are on standby to make these platforms an entertaining avenue. They call these contents skits or comedies. I've never been a fan of viewing comedies but my view later changed.
What inspired you to delve into the world of stand-up comedy and How do you think watching Comedy helps a person in day to day life? |

My inspiration sprang from the forceful attitude of my children to view their phones. Normally, I always chase them away as I don't like viewing things like that but that day, I was forced to watch a comedy, my first watch comedy skit. It was about this popular trend showing transition or transformation of one's life.
The comedy went this way; Esther was black and broke but when Esther see money, Esther bleach. They made it resonate with the word Establish. I couldn't laugh. The video was just so funny and shocking.
This changed my perspective about comedies. I started becoming a fan of this but I don't allow it ride my time as there's addiction in it especially when you have sufficient data to take you through. You can spend a full day watching comedies and as you watch one, the next one is on standby to entertain or lure you in. When you have in mind of ending the view in a particular skit, you'll be tempted to watch the next till you ride your day all through with just entertaining yourself. *
Watching comedies helps to make active and put a smile on my face. It is said that when one smiles too much, he prolongs his lifespan and prevent aging. So this comedies has really served as a form of entertainment to me when I'm bored or kind of stressed.

From my recent and past views, I've come to like some comedians like sabinus, broda shagi, Ay, Late Mr Ibu, and many more
| Sabinus | This comedian is a famous comedian and is known for his great entertaining skills. I bet there's no skit of his you'll watch without laughing hard. He always act stupid and his stupidity has led him to be used by many on different occasions. There was an instance he tried eating food in his compound. On hearing his wife come, he hid the food inside a bucket so his wife won't ask him money for food. When the wife approached him, she unknowingly took the bucket and fetch water with the food inside. He couldn't cry. This was when the wife knew her husband has been pretending he doesn't have but is eating in secret  . |

| Ay | This particular comedian is known for his bad mouth. In fact, he usually do basket mouth shows that entertains a large audience. In movies he acts, he always bloom so stupid at times and the way he talks with his facial expression is enough entertaining to crack your ribs. I just like watching him.  |
| Late Mr Ibu | This man has been a very entertaining comedian right from when I was young. I've been watching his crazy movies that can uplift someone's spirit. His death pained everyone badly.......I miss him picture from his blog |

I've not been to a show of this nature before. I do stream it on my phone and then watch to entertain myself anytime I feel bored or less busy. There's was a time I laughed out loud in a reading room. Everyone were just looking at me. Why? I was watching Sabinus Comedies and there was actually a part that made me lose it out. It was embarrassing no doubt but was entertaining as well. Everyone joined me in the laughter even though they knew nothing about the laughter..........

The way I speak my local dialect is always amusing to my children and some other people. When I say something serious and funny and then keep a weird look, there's an outburst of laughter. They sometimes ask me why I don't laugh when I say something funny.
I'll tell them.; Am I wearing a pant on my head of what that I'm looking funny? I'm not really that kind of humorous person that would be good in comedies. I just like viewing it from others.
In life, entertainment is a very important form of growth but not known by many. It helps cure depression at times and it's good in preventing aging because when you laugh and smile always, you're less to grow old fast.

It's true that many of us have enjoyed funny movies or TV shows that made us laugh a lot. I agree that social media platforms like Facebook and TikTok are filled with funny videos called skits or comedies.

One of the things I have actually come to discover is the fact that Nigeria is really blessed with a lot of comedians most especially stand up comedian. Most of the times when you are done emotionally, all you have to do is just to rush to the social media and make proper use of the internet. You will see comedy videos that will light your mood. I guess you are also in my shoe, growing up I so much love comedy to the point that I was even desiring to become a comedian. I really want to become one because I actually really want to put a smile on someone face. The beauty of humanity is always when you are able to put smile on people's face and which I see that stand up comedian or comedian generally do. I celebrate them greatly for that. In our society, you tend to be love much more when you able to put a smile on people's face, it always goes a long way
