STEEMIT ENGAGEMENT CHALLENGE S7W5 - WRITE A SHORT STORY

Hello to everyone in this wonderful community today and in this platform at large. I say a wonderful good evening to you all and I hope we all ar3 doing just great this evening.
Today as usual in this steemit platform, I welcome you all to yet another week of the steemit engagement contest that has been brought forward by the steemit team in other to improve engagement among users in this platform.
I will be participating in the engagement contest that has been set by this community team which has been titled write a short story. I beckon on you all t9 stay put as I drop my entry.
THE VILLAGE HUNTER AND THE TWO SISTERS
Once upon a time, there lived a village hunter who has been living in the outskirts of the village for so long. This hunter never has he encountered true love because of the rumors he always hear from other village hunters regarding the maidens in the village.
And as such he sworn never to fall in love and immediately the heart for falling in love left him. He was now full with hatred for all humans not just maidens. This was as a result of the Gods in the land who cursed him for making such unacceptable vow.
So everyone disliked him too. Whenever he come in contact with any maiden, he always receives insults from the maiden in question. He tried so hard to start liking people but to no avail because a mighty curse has befallen him and as such no one could love him ever again.
So he went to the village chief priest to help him consult the gods of the land if there is a way to lift the curse of him. And he was asked to bring certain rites for the ritual in other to appease the gods and he did all that was required of him.
Then the chief priest now found the answer to his problem. He was told that if a maiden could smile at him then the curse will be lifted. He was disturbed because no maiden agreed to smile at him no matter how he tried and this was as a result of the curse.
So he gave up and started doing his thing. One faithful day, the hunter was walking along a farm when he came across two maidens from the land. These maidens are sisters and they seems new to him.
But he never thought about saying hello because he felt as if he will be snubbed by them just like other maidens do in the land. And as he was walking past them, one of the maidens called out to him and greeted him with a smile.

Immediately he looked at the maiden, the cursed got lifted from him and he felt a deep power of love. He has never felt so much alive before and immediately he ran towards the maiden with his bicycle and they had some chitchat.
Then they later decided to go to the girls parents to seek for her hand in marriage. This was how the farmer became free from the curse of the gods and he can now love and be loved again. So the farmer and the maiden lived happily ever after.
CONCLUSION
It is not always good to jump into conclusions as though there might be repercussions when we do that. Try and get a concise information regarding a particular phenomenon before making your verdicts.
The farmer's story was indeed an eye-opener to me and so now I stop concluding blindly until I get the right information about a thing.

This is a story about a hunter who was cursed by the gods for vowing never to fall in love. Despite trying to change his ways and seeking help, he remained cursed until a maiden smiled at him and lifted the curse.
