Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I am going to take part in a contest on a very important topic in the Steem For Pakistan community. Where subjects are selected with Safety First. I would like to thank the contest moderator @enamul17 for organizing a contest for us on an awareness topic. I will present to you my opinion on Safety First as per the theme of the competition.

✅ Why is it important to prioritize safety first in various aspects of our lives such as at home, at work or during recreational activities?

Security is an important part of our life. Part by which we take various steps to keep our life safe. In every moment of life we need security a lot. Without security you are not safe anywhere or can move freely. So no matter where you are at home or at work, you have to think about your safety first.

I have to prioritize safety first and foremost wherever I stay. Such as accidents that may occur while at home or at work. For example, security is necessary to save yourself from any incidents related to fire, theft, etc. If we talk about fire, then I will say that it is important to have fire extinguishers everywhere in the house or office. So the priority of security is a very important chapter in our life.

✅Have you ever been in danger or seen someone in danger due to lack of safety?

I am however very aware of these matters. I prioritize the security of myself and my home. I have never been in danger for lack of security yet. But I have seen others who have been put in danger by not being able to maintain their safety. In my life I have seen my classmates and colleagues have their mobiles or money bags stolen from the buses while traveling on the roads due to lack of caution.

Also, if we talk about the security of various institutions in Bangladesh, then we will say that many institutions have caught fire due to the lack of security measures. Where there has been loss of property along with human death. Our unconsciousness is the only thing responsible for these unwanted events. If proper security measures are taken, no one has to face such loss due to lack of security today.

✅ What is your opinion about the safety of children or the elderly? How important do you think security is in their case?

In our society neither children nor the elderly are safe. For them too I think security is a very important issue. In the context of Bangladesh, it can be seen that many children have died prematurely due to the lack of child safety. Because especially in the lack of safety of children at home, such incidents happen. Most of these cases are seen when children swallow objects like marbles or bottles while playing at home. Many times children may die due to falls, burns, or drowning in water.

And if we talk about the elderly, there comes a time when they are unable to move alone. Then they need an assistant. Children and the elderly are most at risk in any type of accident. Because they cannot move as fast as other age groups. So in my opinion we should be more careful about the safety of children and the elderly.

✅ What steps do you take to keep everyone in your family safe that others can take as advice?

Here are some steps you can take to keep your family and yourself safe:

• First of all, the security system in the house should be strengthened. CCTV cameras should be installed at the main gate of the house if possible. In order to easily identify the intruders entering the house.

• Take care of your bag and mobile or other necessary things while traveling on the road. Can be protected from theft on the journey.

• Not only physical security but also we need to keep ourselves safe from cyber crime. Our social media sites are specially secured with strong passwords to ensure that no one can expose them to cyber threats.

• You should also be careful about uploading your pictures on social media. I think it's important to maintain security in your photos.

• I have made fireproofing at home. So that if there is ever a fire in the house, I can take necessary measures.
