The picture I am presenting today has two tender children. One is holding the other in his arms. A very simple picture. Dirty clothes, and dirt all over his face. To me, this image captures the love of an elder brother holding his younger sister with love. In my eyes, the image captures our security trust. So today I have chosen this image for One Picture and One Story.
I live in Bangladesh. Our country is a developing country. We are working day and night to get rid of the curse of poverty. But there are still many poor families around us, who do not get two times meals a day, clean clothes to wear, no education, and no sanitation. For those who have no interest. Survival is the main goal for them. All around them moaning, lack of poverty.
There is no lack of one thing in all these things, and that is love and affection.
A closer look at the picture I have presented you also can understand
The Photo represents the poverty of our society. Along with this, the lack, sorrow, pain, and sadness could not destroy our love, tenderness, and the love that exists between us in the midst of a hundred shortages.
In the picture, the elder brother is holding his younger sister in his arms. Seeing the picture, it is clear that they are living in the midst of scarcity. But the scarcity could not take away that love.
Therefore, the younger child feels safe in the presence of his brother. Couldn't take away the smile on his face. Couldn't get in the way of his love for his sister.
This picture, which looks very simple but extraordinary, is representing our society. It is shaking our conscience as if it wants to tell us that love, affection, and love are immortal. No lack can destroy this love.
