Vimukthi was a student in an engineering department, at the University of Katubedda, since 2012. He was a handsome young man with lovely looking. So many girls in the university try to start an affair with him but he doesn’t want to keep such an affair with any girls, instead studying. His friends also bothered him by requesting to start an affair. But his answer was ‘those are trouble work, I don’t want any girls, I have my mother, that is more enough for me’. It was Vimukthi's final year, which was 2016.

Praveena, a lovely young woman 21 years old with short hair, and blue eyes entered the same department as a student. Seniors are the ones who welcome new students to the university. As per usual, Vimukthi addressed them and welcomed them all to the University. While at the meeting, suddenly he met lovely, blue eyes, and he was excited to see that eyes.

One day as Vimukthi was passing through the Auditorium, a group of five girls came up to him. Among them, he could find a very familiar face. He was shocked to see that face. He was unable to take his eyes off of that girl. He remembered the girl's blue eyes, which had a very emotional impact on him. He then wants to chat with that girl and began an affair with her because he has fallen in love with her. She was the Praveena I had already described. That was the beginning of Praveena and Vimikthi's relationship. Vimukthi’s friends were surprised and overjoyed to know about their relationship. Day by day, their love grew stronger, and they were unable to support one another. They are now deeply in love.

It was only two weeks to end Vimukthie’s final year. Before the end of their final year, the batch organized a trip to Bandarawela. Final-year students have permission to accompany their lovers on the journey. So, Vimukthi accompanied her girl Praveena on this trip.

On the way to Bandarawela, the bus met with an accident some students died on the spot and some were injured. Praveena lost her both eyes and Vimukthi lost one leg due to this accident and all were admitted to the Hospital. After knowing that Praveena’s eyes were damaged, Vimukthi wants to donate his eyes to Praveena as he deeply loves her. However, Vimulthi urged his friends to pretend everyone that he died in an accident. Vimukthi donated his eyes to Praveena and went to his village to live with his mother. Praveena has no idea that her eyes were donated by Vimukthi. The news of Vimukthi’s death spread through the University though he was alive. Praveena was sad about Vimukthie’s death and she wanted to pray for Vimukthi as she deeply loves him. Everyone in the University believed that Vimukthi was death.

One day when Praveena was on the way to her hometown, she met the nurse who was in charge of her eye surgery. They were both gone together talking about the past as they met after the surgery. At that moment, she found that one of the seniors had donated her eyes. When she heard that tale, she was surprised, so she went straight to Vimukthi's best friend Chanaka to find out more. Chanaka was then helpless to hide anything from Praveena and was obliged to tell her the whole truth. He detailed everything, even how he lost one leg after Vimukthi donated his eyes and is now living with his mother in his village.

When Praveena heard this tragic news, she immediately wanted to meet Vimukthi. So Chanaka had accompanied her to Vimukthi’s house. When Praveena first met Vimukthi, she sobbed for several hours while hugging Vimukthi and accused him of lying. After crying for hours, Praveena promised his mother that she would take care of Vimukthi for the rest of her life. After that, she married Vimukthi against Vimukthi's desires but with her parent's blessing. Then, they lived together with his mother. She completed her degree while taking care of Vimukthi. After graduating from University, she found work as an engineer, enrolled Vimukthi in the school for the blind, and assisted him in finding employment.

Now Vimukthi and Praveena spent a happy life with their mother, as there was a place where true love can exist. Both of them showed us that true love does not involve ownership but rather caring for one another.

Assalamualaikum,

My friend your story is really amazing, I get interested in your story which lead me to read it till end. Thanks for presenting amazing story which conveyed a important message.

This is a touching story about the power of love and selflessness. Vimukthi and Praveena's love story is a testament to the idea that love is not just about having someone, but about being there for them and caring for them no matter what.

The fact that Vimukthi was willing to donate his eyes to Praveena, even though it meant sacrificing his own life and future, shows the depth of his love for her.

I also admire the way Praveena stood by Vimukthi, even after she found out the truth about his sacrifice. She promised his mother to take care of him for the rest of her life, and she followed through on that promise, by enrolling him in a school for the blind and helping him find work.

This shows that love is not just about feeling good, but about taking action to support the person you love, even when it's difficult.

Overall, this story is a reminder of the importance of selflessness, care, and love in our lives. It inspires us to think about what we would do for the people we love and how we can show our love in meaningful ways.

I wish you success in this Engagement Challenge, and I hope you will get good results from this contest.

I like the decision that Vimukthi, took during his university days despite how handsome he is he didn't went on meeting ladies in the campus.

I feel very sorry for Vimukthi, for the accident that he had. Such is life you never can predict how tomorrow would look like. You have written well. Success to you.

Thank you for reading my post. I don't think having an affair will affect anyone's academic performance. Everything will happen according to their attitude.

You have described this story as if you're associated with the story or someone close to you gone through it. It's really hard to find such charterers in real life but there is nothing impossible. You have written something touchy and worth reading.

Thanks for reading it. Yes, I could express this as Praveena giving the boot to Vimukthi by knowing the details story. But I admire true love, that is why I ended the story that way. Thanks for your feedback.
