What does the concept of "Freedom" mean to you personally?

Freedom is the absence of any hindrances to our successful life, it is liberation from slavery. It is the liberty to do legal things that makes you happy such as freedom of speech, freedom to live, freedom of expression etc.

The word freedom can be seen in different aspects of life, so it depends on the area one is talking about because it can be in the area of economy, political freedom, social freedom or personal freedom. Freedom is very important because it add value to our lives. Freedom is an asset that everyone is fighting to get, it brings peace of mind.

🕊️ Is Freedom a fundamental human right?

Yes freedom is a fundamental human right, according to the Nigerian fundamental human right there is freedom of speech, freedom of movement, freedom from discrimination, right to freedom of expression and the press etc.

All the above are fundamental human rights that are according to the law of the country. You can do what ever you want to do as far as it is under the law, and that is why we have law enforcement agency to punish those that are abusing these freedom because of there selfish interest.

🕊️ Do you believe that your country is enjoying freedom or is it influenced by external Factors?

My country Nigeria is colonize by the British, before getting her independence 1st October 1960. As one can not deny that there are still some elements of control from the British direct or indirectly in area of Economic, political and Education.

But my country are enjoying freedom as they have the right to stop any external control and do what so ever they want to do by themselves.

As I mentioned Nigeria got her independence in 1960, but it was not easy our past heroes fought for this independence we are enjoying today. It was the effort and hard work they put together that brought this success.
