Blouse measurements

For making blouse you need the following measurements;

• Bust circumference.(65 cm)

• Shoulder to bust measurement.(28 inches)

• Left bust to right bust apex distance or gap.(10 cm)

• Waist circumference.(28 inches)

Skirt measurements

• Waist circumference (28 inches)

• Waist to hip distance (17 cm)

• Hip circumference (60 cm)

• Skirt length (55 cm)

How many measurements are needed for the blouse with personal sizes ?

You need to know the following measurements;

• Your bust height....

• Your bust gap or speration...

How many measurements are needed for the blouse, with industrial sizes ?

For blouse,with industrial size following measurements are the requirements;

• Bust circumference.

• Width of your back.

• Shoulder to waist distance (From front).

• Shoulder to waist distance (From back).

• Waist circumference.

Materials that are really essential for taking these measurements are below;

• An elastic tape.

Elastic tape is indicated by its name that it has flexibility and elasticity so it can be used to take measurements of those body part that may very from person to person and some people have very lean body and some have very bulky body shape so it may be used for the measurement of waist.

• A yarn (Similar to a necklace).

Likewise in the picture you can also see this yarn like structure that is just similar to a necklace and can be used for essential measurements.

• Inches tape or measurement tape with visible reading.

Inches tape most of the time may be used for measurement of height so if we have to measure from shoulder to bust or skirt length then we will use this tape but if it has visible reading then it would be a plus point.

Why are you taking this course, what is your goal in real life?

I am taking this course because being a girl I really think that sewing is a skill every girl should have because if we have this kill then we are not dependent on others for stitching our clothes which is need of everyone. Little bit I already know about sketching but I want to learn from very start and from introduction that's why I really love to participate in this assignment.

There are many goals in my real life but related to sewing I only have one goal that I should know to stitch clothes of different designs and styles, if not for others then for me at least. This is a skill after getting which I will feel proud on myself.
