The Diary Game| Date 02|06|2024: A busy Day at home by @rossnenye
Dear Diary,
I woke around 7.30am in the morning because I slept quite late last night. On getting up, I said my morning prayers, thanking God for the gift of life, family and sound health. After my morning prayers, I went to clean up the house, being Saturday it's a normal thing to do Clean-ups on Saturdays. Infact it's a norm in most African homes my house not an exception.

I first went to clean up the kitchen, I started with washing the dirty dishes from last night after that I went to empty our trash can downstairs. After that I decided to change the bedsheet because I wanted to wash clothes. It's been awhile since I washed clothes because of the rainy season.

It rains all the time and sometimes after washing clothes it will take like three days to dry because of the rain. But I was lucky because today was a sunny day. I started washing clothes around 10.35am and finished it around 12.00pm. After that I had breakfast around 1pm after I was done with what I was doing. After that I had my siesta and woke up around 4.30pm in the evening. Around 6.30pm in the evening, I went to park my clothes outside. Most of them dried well it was just few thick ones that didn't dry.

That was basically how my day went, I had quite a hectic day yesterday being the 1st day of June but I'm glad it ended well.
