Hi guys how are you all doing, I will be taking part in the steemit engagement challenge S7W2 which has the theme "utilizing waste to create valuable items" and I hope you all will enjoy reading it.

In my post today I will be sharing some quality insight with you guys on how we can utilize some waste and condemned materials and turn them to valuable goods and product.

In our environment today a lot of people prefer to throw away some of their already used items and products example plastic, fruit 🍑, rotten metals etc. Instead of utilizing it to become even more useful materials to us and the community at large.

FRUIT

So firstly we will be talking about Cocoa, we all know Cocoa and we have all eaten it before and it's always very delicious. Cocoa which is just like any other kind of fruit are being consume by humans and some of us usually throw the seed away.

But as a matter of fact in Nigeria Cocoa is popularly known to be a good source of income for both farmers and the nation at large, the cocoa seed which most of us throws away if collected in large quantity and are been taken to a cocoa processing factory which are then processed and used in the production of certain beverages such as _____ and are then sold to make money 💰.

PLASTIC

Another and most disturbing waste materials which I will be talking about is plastics, and the reason why I say that there are the most disturbing is that people like throwing used plastic and nylons into the gutters in the street while some scarter them around.

So in Nigeria a lot of plastics companies which some are being run by government and others by private individuals has employed workers who will go around to pack and also buy some condemned plastic from people and gathered them back to their companies to refine to produce more useful items.

RUSTED IRON

In Nigeria rusted iron popularly known as iron condemned which are waste iron pieces which are no longer useful therefore there are being pack one place and are sold to the aboki people who will buy this iron by measuring them in kilos from the owner and then sell them to the iron company.

The condemned iron will be processed and melted to produce a more useful products which will be useful in the society and sell them to make profit. Which at the same time makes the wasteful and rusted iron to be more useful to us instead of throwing them into the bush.

And I will like to invite some of my friends @esusaviour @dhiraj37 @usagigallardo15 @shilaakter786 @steemkidss

Your idea about recycle is pretty good. Your country, Nigeria, does not waste the seeds of the cocoa crop but recycles it to produce new crops which is quite commendable. Also, you have given some recycling ideas about plastic items which are very nice. Your introduction was very good. Good luck to you.

Hola @radleking es muy importante saber sobre estos temas para tomar conciencia sobre el uso de la semillas y también el aprovechamiento de esos materiales que son difíciles de degradar en el ambiente y a los cuales les podemos dar otros usos

Saludos
