- Through this contest people from different countries, different religion be able to know about our festivals as how we celebrate it.
- As a participants I'm delivering short article about my Favourite festival that I like most.
"FESTIVAL OF COLOURS" (HOLI)
Holi is a famous Hindu festival that is celebrated in every part of India with utmost joy and enthusiasm as it is celebrated from ancient time. Said that Holi existed several centuries before Christ.It is celebrated every year on the day after the full moon in the Hindu month of Phalguna which is early March.Originally, the festival was an agricultural festival, celebrating the arrival of spring.
Before the day of holi people gathered to fire a bonfire. Next morning the ashes from the bonfire are collected as prasad and smeared on the limbs of the body.
- Children particularly enjoy the festival as they throw water filled balloons at passersby by saying 'Bura na mano Holi hai..' Besides, they have their water missiles, called pichkaris to drench the person from far and escape.
- Holi specialities foodstuffs like gujiya, malpuas, mathri, puran poli, dahi badas etc and downed with glasses full of thandai are consumed😚❤️ delicious.
- People enjoy it by singing dancing, having parties, etc.
- The must favorite game that held in holi is breaking matka... Aaye haye😚😇
Enjoyment level is infinity... Nothing can measure it😚😚😚

What caught my attention of this contest is the possibility to learn about the culture of other countries and I was not wrong, I love this festival called Holi, it is fun and contagious, it is a festival of colors and whoever attends has to be ready for the jokes, because the water bombs are over there haha.
