Contest Week 7- Power Up Your Steems with SFP
A few days ago I made a mistake by withdrawing a certain amount of steems and that affected my club status and also caused me to lose some votes on my post, actually, i never knew that if my club status is affected, it might cause curator from voting your post, I was very angry with myself, for the very first time my post was a review with a no club sign. I felt really bad then I realized more about what it means to power up.
In the blockchain-based social media platform the powering up process shows your commitment to Steemit, It shows that you are interested in holding steem currency for a long time and that you believe in its power to make a difference very soon in the crypto space. I would say that in Steemit the powering-up process is the same thing as holding a currency.
I want to also unveil that as we power up/hold steem for a long time, it increases its value and if the powering up process is done and a greater number of people hold steem currency, the price will eventually skyrocket the law of demand and a supply can explain this better and this will benefit us a lot.
There are a lot of benefits to powering up, these are;
- It increases are voting power, which helps us support other users by voting
- It affects our club status, If we don't power up at least 50% of our liquid steem, it will kick us out club status❌.

You will be ask to asked to login with your active owner key for the process to be successful but if you logged into you account with it already that won't be required |
