SEC-S14 /W4|"Power Of Money Vs Power Of Fame"
Power and fame is a very hot topic for many on earth today. If you check out most discussion groups, it is almost always about acquisition of money fame. It is a trending topic as almost everyone wants to gain power and fame.
So this week's engagement contest by steem for Pakistan is really very timely. Let me use the tips to explore the topic the more.
What do you mean by power or how do you define it?
From an education point of view, it means the rate at which a work is done and also have a unit of measurement known as Watts(W).
It can also be defined as one having the ability to control, influence and to have a level of authority over others. The ability of a person to influence someone's thought, action or even the way people think or reason. So a person who is able to influence or mold other people's way of reasoning is said to be welding power.
Which will you choose, money power or fame power?
The question of whether I should choose money power or fame is really difficult to answer. It depends on what the person wants and the circumstances that surrounding the person.
I would not choose any of this, if it is for the sole purpose of influencing other peoples opinion or reason. Because. I would not want to be a manipulator. I believe, people should be allowed to freely take decisions on matters.
However, if the money power or fame is just to help me improve on my finances and raise my standard of living and assist others to grow, I would go for money power. The reason is because in today's world, money power can automatically give one fame power.
Do you think there is both pros and crons in these two power?
Yeah. Everything that has an advantage also haa a disadvantage.
The advantages of fame and power are and not limited to these below :-
° Many people will be attracted to you and also love you.
° the person will be rich enough to buy whatever he wants and go to anywhere he wants
° The person will have influence and tends to control people because of his wealth and fame.
° The individual will work only if he wants to and when he wants to.
° The person have the capability of having access to the good things of life.
° The person will be connected to high networtth individuals because of his fame and money.
The disadvantages are :-
^ To determine the real friends would be very difficult because most people are just there for the fame and money.
^ the person does not have much control over the way he lives his life.
° There is nothing like privacy for famous and wealthy persons.
° There is a very great possibility of being depressed due to so much pressure exerted on him.
^ Such persons are open to so much criticism and atack both by the media and individuals.
What would be your advice for future generations, how can they choose the right path?
The world projects fame and money power as the main thing a person should pursue in life.
However, my humble advice is that young ones should learn to be humble and be content with whatever he or she has.
The craze for fame and power, have led so many men and women to their early grave. Because of the insatiability of human wants and needs, one will strive to always acquire more money power and fame and this might lead to terrible consequences. Even the Holy scriptures acknowledged that when it says
But those who are determined to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and many senseless and harmful desires that plunge men into destruction and ruin. 10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of injurious things, and by reaching out for this love some have been led astray from the faith and have stabbed themselves all over with many pains. (This is a direct quote from ! Timothy 6:9 and 10 of the new world translation of the holy scriptures, jw.org site)
Hence, it is wise to be content with the basic things of life instead of using all your strength to pursue these two things.

You have defined the definition of power according to my subject haha which is physics so I agree that power is defined as what you have said.
