An owl lived on a tree. Owl cannot see during the day. That is why he remains hidden in his nest the whole day. And when night falls, they go out for hunting. It was a summer day, afternoon time. The sun was shining like a ball of fire in the sky. Was feeling very hot.

The monkey said, “The moon does not shine during the day, it shines at night. It is day now. Only the sun shines during the day. When the sunlight spreads rapidly, it causes terrible heat. It is really very hot today.” The monkey tried hard to convince the owl that the sun was shining in the sky and due to this it was extremely hot, but the owl remained adamant on his point.
Even after the monkey explained more, "he kept saying that there is neither sun in the sky nor sunlight and there is no hot". When both the owl and the monkey were adamant on their views for a long time, the owl thought of going to his friends and taking a decision. The monkey agreed with the owl. The owl took him with him to another tree.
Hundreds of owls lived on the second tree. The owl gathered his caste brothers and said, “Brothers, this monkey says, it is day now and the sun is shining in the sky. Only you people decide whether it is day at this time or not, and whether the sun is shining in the sky or not.”
Hearing what the owl said, his caste brothers laughed at the monkey and mockingly said, “What are you saying sir, the sun is shining in the sky? You are completely blind. Don’t propagate such falsehood in our colony.” But the monkey was firm on his point. Hearing the monkey's words, all the owls became angry and hurried to kill the monkey.

The monkey ran away to save his life. It was fortunate that the owls could not see since it was day. On the other hand, because it was day, the monkey was visible. He easily saved himself from the owls by running away.
