Weekly Drawing Contest || Week-31 || Draw a Tomato.

MY DRAWING

It's a pleasure in participating in this contest to showcase my drawing skills. Good day to everyone especially those who blessed us with beautiful drawing of last week. It's was amazing seeing different drawing talent from you all.

Today's drawing is on Apple so am go to show how I come up with my drawing.

MATERIALS NEEDED

White (my jotter)
Pen

DRAWING STEPS

STEP 1: If you notice in most of my drawing I always like using a pen to draw. I know it's can be hard because in on or two ways, you'll surely make mistakes. That's why I don't begin my drawing with parts, I sketch every details of my drawing first.

STEP 2: After sketching, you can see that all my drawing detail is on the paper. Any mistake? I can correct it now before moving to the next step. Since there's no mistake or correction, the next step is tracing on the sketch drawing. You can see that I have my drawing structure after tracing.

STEP 3: The next step is coloring, but I preferred shading because I don't have colour at the moment. I use 2 types of shading: light shading and dark shading. some side will be darker than others.

STEP 4:The title of my drawing is very important as people to know what you're drawing. I write my drawing title followed by my username.

STEP 5:My drawing is ready and I cross-check everything. I included steemit website to my drawing. Now am done with the drawing, feel free to rate it.

Yes am familiar with tomato because it's one of the most useful spices when cooking. This tomato can be seen in two type, the raw tomatoes and tomatoes paste. I can easily get both raw tomatoes and tomato paste in the market.

Is this fruit available in your country?

Of course tomatoes is available in my country Nigeria. Like I said, it's one of the most spices people use when cooking. Unfortunately, the price of tomatoes now has made people to use supplement in making their stew such as using garden egg.

Have you eaten this fruit yet?

From my childhood, I have been eating tomato both raw and paste. My brother is a chef and he knows how to prepare food with tomato perfectly. Tomato can be used to make stew and sauce. I have eaten tomato with yam, rice, plantain, cocoyam, spaghetti.

How much is it worth in your area? (Include steem prices with your country prices.)

Like I said, the price is tomato is on high side, the amount of tomatoes we use to buy at N400 is now 1500. To cut the story short, let me explain it with the current price i asked in the Nigeria market right now.

In the above picture, 1 plate of tomato is sold at 1000 which is about 3.57 steem while the one in medium tomato tin is N6000 which is about 21.45 steem.

The tomatoes paste is easily accessible because with just N200 which is about 0.71 steem you can get in the store.
