Happy weekend, is rainy in my area and I will like to know if same thing is currently happening in your area. I want to share a very important story with everyone today and this story is a real life story of something that happened in Nigeria concerning betting. The picture I shared here was taken from my friend's phone but is not the actual betting shop that the event occurred, let's gooooo.
Say No To Underage Betting
Betting is only meant for people above the age of 18 but these days there are teenagers who aren't up to 18 that are already betting. When I wasn't up to 18 years few years ago, my friends which are my age mates, were already betting and I have warned them several times to stop it because they are not up to 18 years but they never agreed to stop.
They are 4 in number and one has stopped, one is so smart to the extent he always win huge money every month and he tempts me to attempt betting. The other one has ruined his life because of betting, he doesn't have enough money anymore. The last one is still betting but he loses alot and wins sometimes but he's addicted to it and he doesn't want to stop it.
Here in Nigeria people even allow underaged children to get because of the things one they don't care because they need more customers to come and get and the second thing is that nowadays teenagers who are just 16 or 17, grow bigger and most of them have beards already. These betting cashiers will think that these young boys are even twenty something years old whereas they are underaged.
Ok Heres a real life story my friend told me, he was sitting in a betting center charging his phone when am underaged boy came with a huge amount of money which we later discovered that he stole it from his father and the boy began to bet until he lost all the money and became sad and frightened. That same day after the boy left, the father came with him immediately, we more than 6 policemen.
Everyone in the betting center including my friend was arrested. They didn't want to hear anyone saying I just came to charge my phone oo, they just arrested everybody but after sometime everyone were really except two men and the two betting cashiers. Betting isn't good so say no to it please, just avoid it as much as you can.
