Today I am going to talk about a moral story which revolves around the greed. We saw greedy people around us in our daily life and how much it is bad to be a greedy person I will tell you today in this article by telling the story and after story I will extract some moral lessons from my story.

Haridutt wants to be rich, but regardless of his hard work he didn't fulfil his wishes

•Formerly in a away place; put away farfar from the hustle and bustle of the megacity life. It was the small vill of Devgiri. It was a peaceful vill, and everyone was friendly and nice to each other. There was a planter named Haridutt, who lived there with his woman and a son. He was veritably hard working. Despite working so hard, his ranch’s yield wasn't enough to make him rich.

When Haridutt tooks rest he saw a cobra

•It was a hot summer autumn, and Haridutt was busy working on his field. The sun was shining in its full muscle, and he couldn't bear the heat. After all want some rest so he decided to have a rest under the shade of a tree. He saw an anthill just behind the tree. Just when he was about to sleep, he saw a cobra crop from that anthill with its hood right over!

  • Greed is a curse so greed always moves us towards the downside m

•Haridutt got spooked at first but also allowed the cobra. He allowed that if he made immolations to the cobra, he'd bless his ranch with rich yield.

A time starts when Haridutt begins to rich and fulfill his wishes

•He ran back to his shack, and returned with a plate of milk, and said “ Forgive me O protection of my ranch! Please forgive me and accept my immolation ”. As usual he offers milk and then then decided to come back towards his home. After coming back he said that there is a gold coin in his plate.

  • Just keep on work and gain rewards and not try to gain that rewards for which you are not putting effort.

•This happed the coming day, the day after that, and for numerous further days, that followed. He started getting rich.

Greed starts to produce more and more in Haridutt and he decides to kill that Cobra which was a good luck for him

•Also one day, he'd to go to another vill. He asked his son to follow the same way he did in his absence. He adhered and did as asked. So, when the coming day he set up a gold coin on the plate, he was hugely surprised! He allowed
to himself, “ There must be plenitude of gold coins in the anthill since the cobra brings one every day. There will be meeting much bad if I will kill that Cobra and if I will gain all coins by killing cobra”

•On other day he was with a stick to kill Cobra rather than the milk plate. As soon as the cobra surfaced from the anthill, he smacked and killed it.

Haridutt lost all coins in his greed at last

•But when he go towards the plate then he saw that there is nothing in the plate and there are just aunts here and he gets confused after this and he come back with a lot of confusion.

At this evening Haridutt came home and got to know about the whole occasion. He couldn't suppose of anything differently but to bang his head! His son had bring them a fortune, and now that couldn't be undone in any way.

What I conclude from this story

This was just a story and I conclude a thing from this story that if Haridutt collects coins one by one and gradually then he can become rich and rich at everyday that comes in his life but due to greed he lost all the things and also he lost an opportunity to become rich according to his wishes just due to greed

What it will be if I apply this greed story in everyone's life?

•if I apply this grade story in everyone's life then I just want to say that we should do hard work and relive upon the things that we gain as a output due to our hard work we should not try to gain all the rewards at a time in a bad way like as Haridutt did in above story.

  • We should always be thankful to our creator who gives us a lot of blessings and we should keep on trying again and again to reach our goal and to gain success.

•Greed always leads us towards the losses so whenever we will start a new journey and a new work then to go or to move towards the high level we have to work at a very low scale and in start we gain low rewards and after that due to struggle we touches the peaks of success.

I want to invite my friends @stef1 ,@fjjrg, @ashkhan,@shohana1 to participate here

Hello @khursheedanwar, I really enjoyed reading your post about the story of Haridutt and how it applies to all of our lives. Greed is a powerful emotion that can lead us astray if we let it consume us. The story reminds us that hard work and patience is the key to success, and should be our primary focus when attempting to reach our goals.

It teaches us to stay humble and thankful for the blessings that we have, and to not let greed cloud our judgement. We should always strive to reach our goals, but do so in a responsible and calculated manner. Keeping our focus on hard work and perseverance will ultimately help us achieve our goals and reach greater heights.
