According to the experts, dates are the first cultivated fruit in Punjab, dates are still being cultivated in many areas including Dera Ghazi Khan Jang Bahawalpur and many other areas where dates are grown. Cultivation Date palm plantations are planted in the months of September and October because then there is neither too much heat nor too much cold.Palm trees can be planted on any type of land that is fertile land, if we cultivate dates there, then the growth of dates there will be better and faster.
The spacing and line to line distance should be 20 feet for good palm growth.Always keep one thing in mind while planting date palm that where we have to plant date palm, the pit should be 3x3, it will produce good date and then water it and leave it.By the way, there are many varieties of dates, but the most popular ones are Dhidi, Shamran, Khizrawi, Makran, Halavi, Asil, Zahidi, and Halini.While planting, try to keep your soil moist and when you know that the plant is blocking the soil a little, apply 10 to 15 kg of dung per plant.
