           INTRODUCTION

Having goals and objectives helps a person to plan his life better. Achievements are those successes one can get in their lives. For the year 2023, I had some goals I needed to achieve, some have been achieved, others haven't but I will say that I have had a lot of achievements this year both in my personal life and on steemit.
I am very happy to be a part of this post and will be writing on my achievements in 2023

The year 2023 started out tough for me, I had some issues I needed to sort out financially, also had some health challenges I needed to work on. So I wrote down some goals for the year and I am happy that I have been able to achieve a lot of these goals.

Here are my achievements in my life in 2023;

1. Graduating with a second class upper: Though I finished the university in 2022, but the school was not done with result compilation and clearance. This year's special achievement is that my results have been compiled after a long delay and I got a second class Honours (upper division) in Petroleum engineering. I have never been more happy. After a lot of delay in my school from strikes to COVID-19 period to suspension of studies due to financial constraints, I finally got a good result. For me this is a very big achievement in my academic career and I wish to do more.

1. I Got A significant pay rise: After working for a year in the school where I teach mathematics, the pay wasn't enough for my needs, so I applied for a 30% pay rise to the administration of my school. After a week of my letter being received, I was called up for a meeting and without delay, the Administration increase my salary by 45%. That was even more than what I had asked for. I went home very happy that day and the started paying the new salary from the same month. I was glad and excited because of this great achievement.

2. My Health: I achieved a great deal in my health this year. I have tried as much as possible to keep fit last year but it didn't work out for me. So this year I wanted to exercise, eat good food and maintain habits that will keep me healthy.
   And I can say that I have had a positive achievement this year. I have been able to keep fit, exercise and eat better. This is a great achievement for me.

I have had Achievements equally on steemit, though I started out very slow because of not having time to write out content. But this year has been different. I had my first my first vote from steemcurator01. I was very excited that day and I showed it to my brothers.

I have also been able to create at least 3-5 content every week so far. And this is a great achievement for me. And I have reached 790 steem power even with a slow start last year. I am really happy with this achievement in the year 2023

My goals are never to be relaxed when I reach I certain stage in life. I keep on aiming for more.
I have greater plans for 2024, which are:

1. I want to go for my Nysc which I regard as the next step in my career before furthering my education. I am planning to move for the National youth service corps programme by march. This is a goal that must be achieved.

2. Learning a Digital skill: it has been my goal to learn data analytics. I would love to add more to my skillset and data analysis appeals more to me. But I will need a good laptop to make that happen.

3. Getting fitter and better: I want to hit the gym by next year to start building my body. All I want is a fit body. I also want to be healthier too. So next year, my goal is to watch what I eat too.

My steemit goals are very important to me and I want to achieve them in 2024.

I want to achieve 2000 steem power or more in 2024.
I want to study more and improved on my writing skills.
I want to be a moderator on steemit.
I would love to post everyday on steemit.

These are my goals for 2024 and I wish myself all the best.
