Hello Steemians, welcome to my post. I am excited to participate in this challenge which I have talked about "What if you were the president of your country?".
✍️ If you were the president of your country, what would be your top three priorities and why?

If I were the president of my country Nigeria, my top three priorities would be something that If I do my country will become great again. These top three priorities of mind are:
- Fight corruption
- Fight Insecurity
- Improve Educational Sector
The reason why the top three aforementioned are my top three priorities is because these are where the problems of Nigeria are coming from.
Corruption has destroyed Nigeria completely whereby the unqualified are seen as the qualified, whereas the qualified are seen as the unqualified people in the country. Whatever you want to do in Nigeria, it is difficult for you to do it without bribing someone.
I want to fight Insecurity because it is the reason why Nigeria's economy is poor and insecurity has caused more harm than good. Millions of lives and properties have been wasted since Nigeria began experiencing insecurity issues which has caused food shortages and many homeless people.
Nigeria's education is gradually dying off and I want to revive it back to standard. As it is said, education is the backbone for development having a good standard of education in the country people will become educated and understand the rules and regulations in the country.
✍️ As president, what specific steps would you take to improve education and healthcare systems in your country?
As president, the first thing that I would do to improve the education and healthcare system in Nigeria is to first employ the right and qualified people in my cabinet as ministers to head the sectors.
I will make sure all schools and healthcare beginning from elementary to tertiary institutions are of standard both government and private. Also, I will collaborate with foreign counterparts for the development and improvement of my country's education and healthcare.
I will provide scholarships for students, lecturers, and staff I will make sure that all libraries, and laboratories in schools have the necessary learning equipment.
As for the healthcare sector, I will make I place healthcare workers in healthy working environments and good salary remuneration which will constitute a board that will be taking care of medical workers' studies.
✍️ As a president, what challenges you could face in improving the overall condition of your country?
As a president, the challenge that I could face in improving the overall condition of my country is sabotage in my cabinets. This is the reason why corruption is my priority to fight in my country.
Sometimes those in leadership will disburse huge amounts of money to their ministers for the betterment of the societies, but the minister will not do anything meaningful with the money.
The majority of presidents are facing the issue of sabotage where your minister will be the one that is spoiling your regime. It is very common in Nigeria.
✍️ Would you do something new to write the history of your country? What will it be?
What I would to new to write the history of Nigeria will be changing the constitution of Nigeria and creating more additional states in Nigeria.
Nigeria's constitution needs to be amended because it is long overdue I will write history for my country by changing it and creating more additional states in my country.

Education and corruption! It seems that this is the problem in so many countries.
Changing the constitution in South Africa is also one of the major things that needs to be looked at. As for more states, I don't think that will work for us. As it is, there is already one province—as we call them—that wants to become a country.

First of all your presentation is very good and secondly the qualities of a good leader is that he tries to keep his country clean in every way as you said you want to remove corruption from your country. would like to put an end to the improvement of the educational system in the country along with the security system. It is quite right that most of the women leave the house which is not safe. When our security system is better then everyone will get full protection They can come out of their homes without any hesitation and do their work in a free environment. Security improvement should be done anyway because it is very important for women and also one of the best assets of the country.

Corruption has become a major factor in today's era. Due to which we are not able to develop, it is among the factors that destroy our nation. Due to corruption, many people cannot develop here. And that's how we know how to fight against our security, whoever breaks our security, we will fight back. And we try our best to improve our education. We have to work day and night to fight for our education, our health, our security, and corruption. And a good law should be implemented and enforced. Becoming a president, it is not a child play, you have gotten so many responsibility to do and if that is not done, people in your country will pass though Alot of things especially those that don't have home, and those that are orphan and no money to take care of them, this is the duties of the president.. good luck to you

Hello Jasmine, fighting corruption is a huge task. Infact to become a president in Nigeria one must first of all be corrupt or ready to roll with corrupt politicians in order to win. We could see this in the last election.
Also with Nigerias debt on the rise, how do you intend to do all these with limited funds? Would you borrow and put us into more debt Madame President
