Today I am here to take part in this interesting contest that this incredible community has come up with, and I hope I’ll be able to draw your attention towards my post, and you will find my post worthwhile to read and vote for.

✍️ What were your hopes while signing up for Steemit for the first time?

It was in 2018 when one of my close friends suggested me to sign up on steemit so as to overcome the financial crisis I was going through at that time. It was only because of my quest for some platform that I could work on to earn some money, because I had just completed my bachelors and was not having any job in hand. At first, I was very enthusiastic about the platform and was very hopeful that I would be able to earn a lot of money in quick time and could overcome the financial constraints that I faced at that time. After signing up, I posted a few photographs, and then when I couldn’t earn much, I was left with a little hope and started copy pasting content without knowing much about the rules. In fact, I didn’t even know what plagarism was, and I was desperate to attract attention, from the curators. After posting a few plagiarised photographs which were flagged by some of the curators, I lost my reputation and with it, I lost all my hopes. After this setback, I was hopeless and Couldn’t return to the platform for next three years only because of reluctant inner self. In course, I lost the credentials of my account and it was 2021 when I returned to this platform with a new account and started posting content only after knowing about the rules and the various stages that the new comers community had set to make the new comers well aware of this platform.

✍️ Your challenges faced while achieving your financial or blogging goals?

Even the easiest of the works contain hindrances and challenges and one must never underestimate the factors that stonewall one’s growth.Yes, I experienced and encountered a lot of challenges while I was striving to sustain on this platform. It was quite an uphill task for me at the first place because I didn’t know how to start and what to talk about while blogging. This time when I returned to the platform I was determined to go through the tough phase and know the different tactics of blogging. I tried to go through the blogs of different influential people who already had got a good reputation and tried to know about how they talked about different themes and I started following them in the same pattern. My skills yet not refined got honed to some extent up by taking part in different contests floated by the different communities for example, the @steemitcryptoacademy @steemindia and @steemforbetterlife etc.

✍️ Your inspiration on Steemit?

Although there have been a lot of people who have been a source of inspiration for me, but still, I would consider a few who had a major impact on my growth. It would be injustice if I mention only one name here. The top influential people for me on steemit are @jyotithelight @sduttaskitchen @chant whom I have observed very closely and have tried to follow their foot steps. Yet I consider myself to be at the very initial stage of progress on steemit because of being involved in the public service. Being a part of the department that has been responsible for the development of rural people, I get a very little time to spend for things other than my job. I usually am involved in my Departmental works even after the office hours, and sometimes I get to have my meals while attending the virtual meets and all.I consider myself to be lucky as I have been chosen for such noble work of serving the mankind especially the underprivileged people who usually face a lot of challenges. But sometimes I can feel the desire to spend more time on this platform and reach the level of success that I had envisaged when I was very new to this platform.

✍️ Your happy story due to Steemit?

Steemit has also been a reason of my happiness at various instances. When I wasn’t having any job, it helped me to generate an income by which I could fulfil expenses of medicine for my mother. Steemit also helped me to stay fit because some of the amount I withdrew was used in buying a cycle which I still use.I bought writing pads and a few books from the amount that I withdrew back in 2021, and since then I have been powering up after I knew the significance of power up on this platform. The most pleasing thing that steemit has ever done to me, is that it has become a new medium of knowing people and the world.I am a very social person who always has tendency of making friends. Moreover, I being a travel enthusiast always have that lust of knowing different places and steemit has provided me with an opportunity to know about different places around the world. I have become so fond of this platform that even after having very little time to spare for such activities, I always try to peep in to see what’s happening on this platform after every half an hour, I reckon.

Conclusion

Steemit has become a part of my life and now at this stage of life, I can’t imagine a single day in which I would be far off from this platform. Putting aside the monetary benefits, it has now become a valuable platform for gaining knowledge and I deem it to be worthwhile to spend time on.
