A celebration is a special enjoyable event that we organize because something pleasant has happened or because it is someone's anniversary or birthday.
A celebration is to observe a particular occasion with festivities. There are many different types of celebrations, for instance Christmas, birthday parties, Durga Puja, Navaratri, Dewali, Dashera Festival, etc.
Festivals may be national or religious. It can also refer to a one-day or more when people in a country have a holidays so that they can celebrate annual rituals.
The way of celebrating glorious heritage culture and traditions are festivals. We keep connections with our origin, culture, and roots through festivals.

Nobanno (Bengali: নবান্ন, Nobānno; lit: New Feast) is a Bengali harvest celebration usually celebrated with food, dance and music in the Indian states of West Bengal, Tripura and Assam's Barak Valley. It is a festival of Bengali cuisine like pitha are cooked food. A special religious ceremony is held on Poush Sankranti, the day after the autumn harvest, the new rice is eaten as payesh (or kheer) made with the rice powder, milk, and coconut. Some fruits and khejur gur or nolen gur is also arranged.
In connection with the rituals, Poush Mela (Bengali: পৌষ মেলা) is an annual fair and carnival that takes place in Santiniketan, in Birbhum District in the Indian state of West Bengal, marking the harvest season. In the past three years the Mela was not held due to some mela ground dispute between Biswa Bharati and mela organisers. However a high level discussion is going on to resolve the issues so that the Mela can be organised this year without any further harm to the rich heritage of Bengal.
In case it is happening this year I'll not miss it anyway, as I visited the mela long ago at my youth in late 70s'.

Durga Puja is a major festival of Hinduism, traditionally held for 4 days in the month of Ashvina (September–October), the seventh month of the Hindu calendar, and particularly celebrated in Bengal and all parts of India wherever non-resident Bangali are found. In Kolkata it takes the form of festival for all irrespective to culture, creed, religion or caste. It's also called Sarbojanin Durgotsab. UNESCO has declared it as Incredible Cultural Heritage.
It surpasses its all previous majestic and magnificent celebration year on year. So it's a challenge for the organisers to innovate and implement new ideas/theme in total presentation and celebration.
This year's Durga Puja was also most shot after event of the year that we enjoyed most as usual like every year.

Celebrations are held on a special occasion like when someone has an anniversary or someone's birthday or when someone gets an achievement or success, they celebrate it to celebrate that success, it's great to read that you have had many celebration, it's great to read that you are preparing yourself for upcoming festival celebration, wish you success 💐🎊🎉.
