Resonant voice of Indian renaissance Sri Aurobindo Ghosh was Freedom fighter. He was author. He was philosopher. He was Yogi, Seer and Sage.

He spent his early childhood in Darjiling convent school . Afterwards his education took place in England. He qualified for indian Civil Service in the year 1890 at the age of 18 years. He took optional papers like clasic (Ancient Greek and Latin) and Modern language (French and German).

But he was patriot and intentionally failed in the horse riding test. It was compulsory for ICS officer to know horse riding at that time. For that reason he was not selected as ICS.

After returning to India in 1893, Sri Aurobindo spent the next thirteen years working at the court of the then Maharaja of Baroda and as a professor at Baroda College. During this time he studied Indian civilization and culture in depth. Joined a revolutionary association or played a key role in preparing a secret revolt against the British government in India.

After partition of Bengal (Bill of Banga Bhanga) he returned to Kolkata. He was the first Indian leader who demanded independence of India in his daily newspapers Bande Mataram. He was arrested for two times for anti British revolt and once conspiracy. But due to lack of evidence he was released all the time. He was prisoned in Presidency Jail of Kolkata.
