Greetings my dear friends of Steemit and Steem For Pakistan

The collection of the original booklet and photos of early actresses of indian movies which are very precious and automatic was displayed in the annual examination of the collectors of Bengal in the last weekend. In the exhibition there was a display of cosmetics and perfumes used by the women of bygone days.

A privately published booklet issued during the marriage of KANAN BALA with Akshay Kumar Maitra in 1940. This unusual match between a film actress and son of a puritan Brahmo Samaj head Heramba Maitra, was the talk of the town particularly amongst the orthodox society of the forties.

Imperial Cinema released "Jivan Niye" movie actress Devika Rani's three photos 16-05-1936.

There was a match Boxes display Jawab at Imperial. ("See Jawab at Imperial" is a label on an Indian vintage matchbox. The label may refer to a tomb in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India.) and Vidyapati at New theaters (Vidyapati (Hindi) (Released 1937) - Directed by Debaki Bose). In those days movie advertisement and publicity was made through matchbox labels.

There were two pictures of Malina Devi (1916 - 1977) who was a stalwart movie actress of both Hindi and Bengali movie. He mainly acted in the mother character and she was famous for her movie Rani Rashmoni where she act the lead role. She started acting at the age of eight and she started acting in theatre regularly from 1920.
