Weekly Contest - Best Diary Game||Naming Ceremony Today||Sunday 11/08/2024

I'm superb excited to participate on this great contest organized by @hive-180106 on this wonderful community, it's a pleasure to be here, and I'm happy to share my entry.

           **The Best Diary Game**

Snapshot parents and the pastor's

I woke up in the morning around 7:00 am I went to the living room for morning devotion as usual with my family, we sing some praises and we ask God for divine protection and blessings of a new day,

after that i rushed to the bathroom to take my shower and had my tooth brushed after that I dressed up ready for today church service, then I went straight to the dining table for my breakfast in preparations for church service.

The church was really fun today we had lot of varieties and we experience ministrations from women fellowship, youth fellowship and lastly from the children section, the children entertained us with their reports from a program which they've attended last week,

The children were really amazing, they recite some great memory verses which were very heart touching, especially, that of a time for everything in the book of ecclesiastic 3 to the end, got everyone "awe" by their performances, offerings were made and we received a brilliant exhortation from my pastor in person of Mr Nehemiah Sundaylink from the book of 1 John 3:1-3.

My mom she's now a Granny ☺️

Therefore, my sister gave birth last week Sunday and today was arranged for the naming ceremony, so after we closed from the church I rushed and take a bike to my sister place in New Nyanya in preparations for the naming ceremony,

The ceremony to be kick off by 5 pm then I decided to be there in time to assist them where necessary,

I had to prepare chicken for the cooking and arrangements of chairs as we anticipate our special guest like the Reverend and Iman family members and friends which were all invited, for prayers and blessings in the life of the child.

So when it's time for the ceremony, prayers were fully observed, grand parents prayed and also encouraged the parents (Mr and Mrs Gyungo Issac Mallo Link of the new born baby where necessary, and the child was name"Giovanni; meaning God is gracious" .

The naming ceremony ended in praise with a round of photographs with our guest the Reverend and Iman and well wishers, food and drinks was shared for the audience, we all ate and drank in celebrations of a new born baby it was massive indeed, it's my best day ever, I'm so happy, coz my sister delivered safely no stress, it's her first child and now, you all can call me (uncle Gio Gio) I am now Giovanni's Uncle☺️.

Before we finished it was already late at night, so I decided to hang out with some few families that came for the Naming Ceremony, and finally we wrapped up by watching a very nice Nigeria movies at Africa magic Epic, on channel 006 Gotv, and then we slept off for the day.

In conclusion Children are indeed a blessing and a source of Joy in the families, and may all those who are trusting God for the fruit of the womb may God locate you all in Jesus name 🙏 (Amen).
