"One Picture And One Story Week #51".
Hello friends,
Greetings to you all, I'm @ibraheem75 From Nigeria, I'm superb excited to participate on this contest titled: One picture and one story organized by @suboohi in steem for Pakistan community.
"Teacher's are great!, No controversies" This picture holds dear to my heart, it's a special picture for a special day in my carrier as a Teacher, I'm superb proud of my profession.
Whenever I come across this great and wonderful picture it reminds me of my Induction Ceremony as a Teacher by the Teacher's Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), a day which I was enrolled and confirmed as a Teacher in Nigeria. That's 27th of August 2024 where we had to take an Oath of allegiance to ensure we always obey the laws and regulations that govern the noble profession.
Although, some said the reward of a Teacher is in heaven, no doubt, but I can say when you impact very well the rewards starts here on earth, the seed you planted surely in due time, you would gladly reap what you sow, of a truth I am a testimony of that, a boy I taught about 2017, and now he is a graduate and we happened to meet on faithful day like that he offered me a ride to my home, he calls me Uncle! Uncle!!,
That's the name Students calls teachers here, so With excitement in his face, because it's been More than 5-years now, we haven't seen or communicated, so it's exciting meeting him that day. Therefore with this hardship, he went to the car and brought out a bundle of NGN1,000 Notes that's one Hundred thousand Naira, and gave it to me, there many incidents like that, which happened, on the cause of impacting knowledge to learners in turn for appreciation, as a Teacher. Sometimes we benefits from earth no doubt about that, it might not be like that of a politicians, but I'm superb proud of myself.
So, this Induction means a lot to me and my fellow colleagues, it's a license as an evidence to prove that we are now a potential Teachers, we can boldly go to anywhere across the Nations to teach without any fear or intimidations.
However, I'm so proud to be in this great and amazing profession that gives birth to all other profession, so whenever I came across, these pictures, that were taken that day I feel proud and excited, about the great achievement, and the history behind those smiles in the pictures that very day, So the first sentence above here in the post, is our slogans Which is: Teachers are Great! No controversies.
Thank everyone for reading through my post, I love you all.
