Here in details am going to talk about pam fruits and how its helpful in our society and family, let's dive into the matter.

Palm fruits as been a life changing substance to different people in different ethnic group in Nigeria. Palm fruits can be use for different purposes after it has been process to finish products.

There are Soo many steps in processing palm fruits to the finish products, by the way the finish products doesn't only stop at the fresh oil itself but can also be process further for more beneficial things to humans and environment as well.

Steps to process palm fruits oil

In the first place, the cultivation of the fruits should be done before any further steps. After getting the fruit from the farm, taking it home it should be kept for some days before looking for ways to separate it from the other unwanted substance that are attached to it.

The reason of keeping it for some days before separation is because of the sharp things around the palm fruits bunch, so that it will be softer for easy separation.

After separation, it should be watch because of the dirt that must have been in the body, and be well boiled so that it can be soft for the oil to come out in much quantity.

After it has been boiled, they should be filtration from the water used in boiling it, after then, pounding it with molter, or using it specific machine to pound it to simpler way and then press it for the oil to be separated again from the shaft, in the process there are some little unwanted particles that will still move along with the oil and some unwanted water as well.

After the oil is separated, it should be purify for more safer to be used for anything by separating the water and the little particles out.

After the purification, your palm oil is ready for use.

Benefits of palm oil in our society

• Food production: the palm oil is another good oil that can be use in production of food, any kind of food, palm is good for it. In Nigeria, that is the main cooking oil which 92% of people in Nigeria uses daily in their food.

• Personal Care production: Palm oil is another common ingredient in many personal care items, including soaps, shampoos, and lotions because it’s an excellent moisturizer. It’s also used in perfumes and cosmetics to help stabilize certain compounds as well.

• Biofuels: Palm oil is also used as a biofuel because it’s a high-yielding crop that can produce more oil per area than other plants. Unfortunately, this use has also contributed to the deforestation of rainforests, which has had devastating effects on wildlife and the environment. Many countries now require biofuels to be manufactured from sustainable palm oil.

• Animal Feed: Palm kernel cake, a byproduct of extracting palm oil, is used as animal feed for livestock such as dairy cows and pigs. This provides a high level of energy and nutrients for these animals, but it also means that they are indirectly consuming palm oil.

• Pharmaceuticals: Palm oil is used in several pharmaceutical applications including liquid and semi-solid dose drugs, creams, and ointments. It’s a common ingredient because it’s a safe, non-toxic, and stable ingredient that isn’t harmful to humans.

• Serves as sustainability to our environment, because it contains non-toxic substance that are harmful to the environment and it also produces opportunity to humans, it also help in keeping the rate of poverty low in some rural area.

With the help of palm oil, it has done a lot of good to our country Nigeria and I believe it has done good also to other countries, there are many other things that palm oil are been used for which are not mention here, so it is important to support the production of palm oil in various area.
