Freedom is more than a just a word , it's a saying that resonates with the depth of our existence in life,I can also say that it is a means that is allowing individuals to express themselves without constraints. To me, I think freedom is the right for every person to articulate their thoughts, feelings, and beliefs at any time and in any way, provided it aligns with the laws of the land. In Nigeria, where I call home, this right is enshrined, emphasizing the importance of individual expression within the boundaries of the law

What does the concept of "Freedom" mean to you personally?

Freedom, to me, is the oxygen of a vibrant society. It is the unrestricted ability to voice one's opinions, embrace diverse perspectives, and shape one's destiny without fear. It represents the quality of self-expression without the fear of being judged, allowing a person to express their true their uniqueness. However, this freedom should be guided responsibly, with regard for the rights and dignity of others.

Is Freedom a fundamental human right?

Of course without a shadow doubt, freedom is the idea upon which fundamental human rights was created in different areas of life. It is more than just the borders and cultures, presenting itself into the very framework of our shared humanity. The right to freedom is not a just an ordinary privilege; it is an inborn desire that helps individuals to participate actively in society, encouraging and supporting creativity, invention, and social progress..

Do you believe that your country is enjoying freedom or is it influenced by external Factors?

Nigeria, like any nation, experiences the ebb and flow of freedom. While the constitution upholds the right to freedom of expression, there are instances where external factors, such as political climates or socio-economic challenges and even religion, may lead to the opposite . The journey towards an undoubtable and sustainable freedom is ongoing, a collective effort in all fairness and ensure that every citizen enjoys a wide range of their rights.

If your nation enjoys freedom today, (IF not) what is the inspiring story (external factors) behind it's success (Defeat).

The path to freedom in Nigeria is filled with stories men and women of resilience and determination. Despite external factors attempting to stifle liberty, the collective spirit of the people prevails. The narrative of success emerges from the stories of individuals we call heroes and heroine in our history books who stood against and prevailed over oppressive forces like the British colonial master's rule over Nigeria,fought against human slave trade, religious bigotry and forceful exploitation of our nation's human and natural resources for their own selfish benefits. Names like Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo,Shehu shagari just to name a few. Also in this recent age with journalists who dared to unveil truths of corrupt leaders, activists who championed justice, and citizens who demanded their rightful place in the democratic landscape.

In conclusion, freedom is a flexible and dynamic force which improves with time. It demands consistent and constant promoting of the idea and invaluable value of freedom in the heart of individuals and the upcoming generations, with a collective responsibility, and an unwavering determination to support and value the status of individuals in the society regardless of their race or gender and not stifling the motivation in others to express themselves not using words of discouragement but always encouraging them to freely express themselves. So let us ensure to create a conducive atmosphere where freedom will thrive by not abusing power and also exposing and fighting against tyranny and corrupt leaders. And also with love and open heart express ourselves too and help others do so.
