What do you understand by the word Red?

The word red is a colour that is the most of the visual colours and luminous colour in the light spectrum. It is associated with the art, different cultures and nature. In the scientific terminology, the red light has 620 to 750 nanometres in the wavelength and this wavelength makes it the most visible colour in the spectrum of light. This colour is slightly dispersed in the atmosphere and due to this dispersion the sunset appear in the red colour. The red colour is also a symbol of the rainbow. In the different cultures, the red colour is linked with the emotions and feelings such as love, wishes and passion. In the traditions the Roses are giving to the loved ones on the Valentine's Day to celebrate their love happiness. In the nature, the red colour is a visible colour in the different fruits such as apples , cherries, watermelon and strawberries.

Blood is an essential liquid in our human body and it is necessary to maintain our life an our other functions of the body. The colour of the blood is red because of the hemoglobin, it is a protein in the RBCs and its work is to convey oxygen from the lungs to the other body's tissues and carbon dioxide from the tissues to the lungs for the process of expiration. Blood has an important role to regulate the normal body temperature and level of the pH. The blood is linked with life. It is a seen in many cultures as a sign of connections and love.

•Roses are the symbol of beauty and love connection between friends, lovers and siblings. This colour represents the romance and affection. The rose is also in the black, white, pink colours but the red rose has its own beauty and charm. The roses are given on the event of weddings and Valentine's Day as a symbol of love and affection.

•The second object with the red colour is the apple. They are delicious but also have nutritional benefits for our health. The apple is red because of the anthocyanins pigment and it is benifical for our health and also decreases the chances of diseases.
