"Africa: My View, Myself Wk5"
Hello there, my fellow steemit friends. In my article today, I will be writing about Africa in my own view. I am taking part in a contest with the title "Africa; My View, Myself Wk5".

Africa is a continent. It is well known as the second largest continent in the world. It located in the western part of the world and bounded by water bodies such as the Mediterranean Sea in the north, the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean on the east and the Atlantic Ocean in the west. Africa has a large population as it is known as the second most populated continent after Asia. It is surrounded by Islands like Madagascar (which is one of the largest Island in the world), Seychelles, etc. It has an approximate of over 1.5 billion people. Africa has over 2000 native languages. In religion, Christianity and Islam are leading in Africa. Africa has a total number of 54 countries. The largest country by land is Algeria and approximate 85% of Algeria is desert. The smallest country is Seychelles with about 95,000 people.

Nigeria is regarded as the gaint of Africa because of its large population and economy. Its economy and population is the largest in Africa. Nigeria is richer than most African countries because it is an oil producing country. Lagos in Nigeria is one of the biggest city in Africa. Nigeria is well known around the world. Nigeria provides block market for investors, which no other country in Africa can boost of. The richest man in Africa is Aliko Dangote and he has the big producing industry in Africa. So in my view, Nigeria is the giant of Africa because of its population and economy.
I am an African and I am proud of my continent. Africa has produced a lot of great people who are known around the world. Africa is known around the world because we have countries who play in the world cup. A lot of great and famous footballers are from Africa. A lot of musician who performs round the world are from Africa. Africa is blessed and will forever be blessed.
I mentioned earlier that Africa has 54 countries.

- Egypt

My country,Nigeria gained independence in the year 1960 and became a republic in the year 1963. Nigeria is the "Giants of Africa". It has the highest population rate in Africa. Nigeria is rich in natural resources such as crude oil, coal, limestone, iron ore, tin, natural gas, etc.

Nigeria is rich in agriculture as well. Agricultural products such as palm oil, beans, fruits, cassava, etc are produced in Nigeria. Crude oil is one of the main export products in Nigeria. Nigeria is known as a beautiful country. Nigeria has produced a lot of prominent people known in the world today. We have a lot of successful businessmen, footballers, musician, actors and actresses, professors, etc .

Africa to me is one of the best continent even though it has lot of developing countries. I've learnt a lot from the detailed information you've shared about this continent. One of such is the number of countries it has and population even the smallest country. Thanks for the invite and for sharing as well. I think the Cc, would have been the contest host name. Africa is the biggest for sure,but I think we need to work within ourselves to make our continent great again. Especially our dear country Nigeria.
