Once upon a time in the heart of Lagos, where the sun was shining so bright in the streets, there lived a boy named Emmanuel known as Emma in short. Emma was not like other children he was so stubborn. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul, often shook their heads in both frustration and pride.

Emma stubbornness revealed itself early. As a small child, he refused to eat vegetables, crossing his arms on any vegetables. When his parents insisted, he will pushed the plate of the vegetables or soup away and shout at them.
His father, a stern man with a soft spot for Emma, would say, “Emma, you’re as unyielding as the Harmattan wind.” Her mother, equally determined, would add, “But that same stubbornness will move mountains one day.”

And so, Emma grew up with a whirlwind of curiosity and tenacity. He climbed trees, scraped his knees, and came back home with frustration, because his parents as given up in him.

In school his teachers sighed. “Emma” they’d say, “you must focus. Life isn’t a wild dance; it’s a steady rhythm.” But Emma twirled on,his stubborn heart leading the way. Years passed, and Emma's stubbornness transformed. His mum got sick and his dad lost his job ,that was a very big life’s storms. When his father lost his job, Emma worked odd jobs—selling plantains, tutoring younger kids—to help his family. He always said, “I won’t break, Papa. I’m like the palm tree in harmattan.”

His dreams shifted, he began working hard and not to be lazy too. He started living a good life and being agood child to his parents. Emma begins working hard and sponsor his self in studing engineering, his eyes now fixed on his future. He begged his parents for forgiveness and his parents forgive him and gave him some good prayers and blessings. Emma successfully graduated from the University. And then, one day, Emma received an acceptance letter from a company. He will be part of a team designing a spacecraft. Emma thought of his parents good deeds towards him upon all his sturboness back then. Tears escaped his eyes, mingling with stardust. “Thank you,” he whispered to his parents. “For believing in my stubborn heart and changing me to become who am I today”

And so, Emma’s story echoed through Lagos the tale of a boy who danced to his own rhythm, defied gravity, and proved that a sturbon child can change to a good and obeying child. 🌟
