I can relate ma. Music helps to calm nerves. there are times when am given an instruction that i do not want to do maybe due to tiredness i just start listening to good music or start singing and am encouraged. Seeing movies with friends is also very good because you have the opportunity to express yourself very well and for pets although i do not like pets having a dog is a good one as long as it's being taken care of.
