CONTEST ALERT:MY VIEW, MYSELF WEEK#5

Thanks to the organizer of this contest@saintkelvin17. This one of the contest I have been wanting to participate in where I get to talk about Nigeria and Africa as a whole. Most times we forget to understand where we are coming from and who we are as a continent. We will only realize this till we give credence to our reach heritage.

Africa is regarded as being among the third world countries which in turn means that Africa has the most underdeveloped countries. Not even close to developing but underdeveloped, that means we still have a long way to go.

Africa to me means nothing but a place where there's abundance of rich cultural heritage but tend to chase shadows,it is not something to be surprised at that all the majority of the countries classified by the UN as least developed are in Africa.

Africa is blessed beyond measures but we are the most backward people. Taking for instance, it's only in Africa that we have occupy till I come type of politicians where a person or particular group would want to dominate forgetting that there are also better people elsewhere.

The answer to this question is not far fetched,but I am pained that these countries that we tend to be giant over are rising faster than expected thereby trying to erase that phrase"Giant of Africa from Nigeria"that's if it has not been taking away.

Not minding, Nigeria was regarded as giant Africa due to its numerous contribution to the development and growth of Africa as a whole.

For example, Nigeria helped South Africa during aparthy, Nigeria have assisted in so many peace keeping missions. And biggest among the reason is that Nigeria has a large amount of mineral deposit.

Who wouldn't be happy being an African and again From Nigeria a land of Rich cultural heritage and mineral resources. Imagine a country that has a large deposit of CARLIFORNIUM and this mineral happens to be the most expensive mineral in the world. So tell me why shouldn't I be proud of being an African/Nigerian 💯

South Africa happens to be among the first countries in Africa to gain independence but till date, it's still under the control of its white minority. One interesting thing about South Africa is that it has three capital unlike Nigeria that has Abuja as it capital. South Africa have Pretoria,cape Town and Bloemfontein as it's capital. It has the largest GDP which is time's two of Nigeria own.
