One Picture And One Story Week #37".
Sarah was born in the year 2008, her father is a bank manager in one of the access bank operating commercial banks of Nigerian. Her mother was not working or doing anything that earns her money, her husband was the one who stopped Sarah's mother from working as a working class woman. The husband's salary was enough for the house and makes them look very happy not until the day Sarah lost her mother to the cold hands of death.
After first and second year of her death, there was no issue between Sarah and daddy. They were looking wonderfully happy and there was no problem in any way. Sarah's father thought it wise to marry another woman because he cannot continue to sit without a woman right in his arms.
Sarah didn't argue that, the father married after two years of the first wife's demise. The second woman Sarah's dad married is a very good but bad woman. She looks very beautiful and kind at heart with people outside the home and also my dad. Sarah realised her wickedness the very first day she came over to the house.
The newly married wife became in charge of the house and then she commands Sarah to do the chores that she cannot do. At some point she does not go to school because she is already running late and she must keep the house neat by moping.
Sarah looks frustrated and depressed. Her beauty was gradually fading but yet her father was never noticing her face and her look. Sarah's dad attention has been taken away completely by his new wife. Sarah sits sometimes to keep sheading tears.
At long last, Sarah left her daddy's house to live with her aunty in Lagos. Sarah is now doing very well and I am happy. That joy that was seized completely, has been found again and she is left to decide wether to go back to her father's house or not. The end of my story,

I felt so sad for Sarah.
First, she lost her mother, and then her father remarried, and her stepmother instead of taking care of her, started mistreating her. Only a biological mother can truly care for her daughter.
It's extremely shameful for a father to prioritize his own happiness over his daughter's well-being by remarrying without considering her needs.
Anyway, the story ends with Sarah deciding to live with her aunt, which was a much better decision. Thanks for sharing.
Oh! yes dear, Sarah had to leave because of the frustration from the step mother but the joy there is that, she is happy where she is now.
