There was a time, once, in a quiet spot dressed in rolling hills and flooded lush vegetation, stood semi-ruined manse, only half remembered. The walls chain-smoke about greatness and mystery through the layers that ivies and indifference have piled. Sometime in the fall inhabited by a daring troop of curious village kids was a mysterious mansion they discovered while walking along the borders of their village.

They even had a friendship crowd with Sarah being a curious girl with a habit to solve any kind of puzzles. Treading the moldy corridors of this long-time still, they heard the echoes of their footsteps internally. There were pictures on the walls that were starting to fade, chandeliers that were as dusty as the whole house. Even though the whole room overgrew all the old images, one painting was the most striking piece - the portrait of a young lady grasping a single red rose.

She was fascinated by the mysterious look of the young lady in the portrait and subsequently decided to explore the history behind the mansion, running through many old documents hoping to get a clue, and asking the villagers who were not reluctant to share their memories.

However, at the end of the day, Sarah instantly became the most competent after her long steadfast search thanks to the discovery of the diaries that were found in a forgotten library room in the mansion. With its pages weathered with the story of Isabella, the woman now pictured in the frame that had used to decorate the sitting room of the mansion's owner.

Isabella’s tale was about love that was not old-fashioned and the pain that it caused her. However her title of noble lady was no longer the case as she had fallen to the cause of the artist, and divided her from the norms of the society and the relationships with her family.

Motivated to pay tribute to Isabel, Sarah and her friends undertook a restoration of the mansion. Together they resurrected it from its dull state, creating it a colorful place with numerous activities. The painting that had gone unnoticed ceased to be a fact of the past. It was more than a symbol- a living witness of a new era- a declaration of love immortalized on canvas whose beauty could not be oblivion.
