A cobbler ( Mochi) named Qasim used to work under a thick Banyan tree. Despite being poor, he had a rich heart. He would cut bread into small pieces and feed the sparrows that came to the tree. After feeding the birds, Qasim would pray and get busy with his work.

One day, a traveler came to Qasim's workplace and was impressed by his kindness. Qasim shared his philosophy, saying, "I am not less than anyone. Allah Almighty has given me the greatest wealth of health. Without health, a person is nothing, even if he has everything." The traveler was happy to hear this and asked Qasim to explain the meaning of his words.

إِنَّ اللَهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Indeed, Allah is capable of doing all things.

Qasim replied, "The meaning of these verses is that O Allah, you are the owner of the kingdom. Goodness is in your hand, indeed, you are able to do everything." The traveler was pleased and asked Qasim to teach him the verses. Qasim agreed and taught him the verses, which the traveler recited regularly.

Days passed, and Qasim's family faced hunger. His wife suggested asking their neighbor for food or money, but Qasim was hesitant. However, he eventually went to the neighbor's house, where he was mistreated and pushed out. Qasim fell and started bleeding but got up, cleaned his forehead, and went to the mosque to pray.

In the mosque, a man heard Qasim reciting the verses and was deeply affected. He offered Qasim a job as his servant, and Qasim accepted. The man turned out to be a kind employer, and Qasim worked hard. He eventually became a successful businessman and built a beautiful house, where he wrote the same verses on a stone.

Qasim never forgot the birds that lived on the banyan trees and continued to help the poor. One day, a poor man came to his house, and Qasim recognized him as his former neighbor who had mistreated him. Qasim forgave his neighbor and offered him help, saying, "Allah honors whom He wills and humiliates whom He wills, in His hand is good, and He is able to do everything.

The story ends with a message about the importance of humility and kindness, We should also be considerate of those around us. We should help them in their times of need. I hope you enjoyed this story. You can express your thoughts in the comment section.

I would like to invite my friends @surinadewi , @sadaf02 , @alee75 to take a look and participate into this contest.
