Polar bears (Ursus maritimus)bears excessive cold, they are extraordinarily habituated to survive in some of the coldest environments on the earth. Polar bears can survive in temperatures as low as -50°f, especially when they are active and in motion which is there nature. They are well survival to excessive cold due to their thick fur with a double layer, which is made up of long guard hairs that push back water and insulate against cold, and the under coast provides additional insulation. Also, they have fat layer which has a thick layer of blubber that is up to 4.5 inches or 11cm thick, that provides insulation and energy reserves.
Although Polar bears can withstand extraordinary cold with their fat layer and fur, they can suffer from heat if the temperature rises too high.
Polar bears are mostly found in the Arctic region and the top five countries with the highest polar bear populations are:

Canada
Canada has numerous designated polar bear management areas and conservation programs. It has an approximate population of 15,500 to 16000 Polar bears, and the weather favours polar bears to thrive and mutiple.
Greenland(Denmark)
Greenland has enforced hunting and conservation measures to protect and manage polar bear populations and survival, mainly along the western and northern coasts and in the Baffin Bay and Greenland Sea and this led to an increase in population of approximately of about 8,000 to 10,000 polar bears.
Russia
In Russia, there are areas with protected hunting regulations to help preserve polar bear populations. With an approximate population between 5,000 and 7,000 polar bears in the arctic regions of the Chukchi Sea and the Kara Sea.
Norway
In Svalbard in Norway, hunting and killing of polar bears is highly prohibited their saftey is considered. Rather, they have strict protection for Polar bears an this increases the number of polar over there to approximately 3,000 to 3,500 populations of Polar bears.
United States(Alaska)
There are various regulations under the Marine Mammal Protection Act in the US this is applicable to protect Polar bears, mainly on the northern coast of Alaska which has put its raise to an approximate population of 3,000 to 4,000.

Polar bears do not have a definite favourite fruit; they may consume berries, which supply them with Sugars and vitamins that are favourable during the short Arctic summer when food sources are little. They also consume other plants, such as Grasses and seaweed found along the coastal areas, although it's not a major part of their diet.
Their basic diet includes seals and other marine mammals, which are beneficial for their energy needs in the harsh arctic environment. There basic dietary focus are not consumption of fruits and plants they just eat them occasionally
