One Picture And One Story Week #28
Laughing |
---|
Laughing is one of the unique acts displayed by a happy person. you do not expect someone sad to smile, talk more, or laugh.
But there's also a wicked laugh!
The one you smile at someone you want to do some bad stuff to, hope you know that smile I am talking about? Almost all of us do it. Sarcasm!
So one time ago, I went to a shopping mall with a group of some friends, not that we went to buy things there, we planned to act classy and rich girls enough that if we walked out without buying anything we wouldn't be called back for any questioning and also probably meet someone who will decide to buy us some stuff; did we succeed? Read on.
On reaching there, we met a funny sales guy, and he was briefing us on every detail on any products we touched. I went for an eye-catching wristwatch, while one of us went for a beautiful shoe, asking for a price and touching everything our hands could lay, so we all were busy touching all the stuff there and seriously asking price like we wanted to buy!
The drama began when a chubby man walked into the mall with bossy attention, he challenged one of us to finish up a bottle of wine and he'd pay for all our expenses!
On hearing such a statement all the packaging work we did on ourselves was brought low, we encouraged one of us who was willing to take up the challenge and by then all eyes were on us and lucky us we went back with lots of goodies and a great laugh!
And each time we talk about it, we burst into serious laughing!
I could remember my first time using rolling steps(escalator) to cross to a particular place in Tropicana! Mehn.. it was scary and fun I sure made everyone laugh as I clung tightly to both sides of the machine, with my eyes closed and screaming!
So another time my boss asked me to accompany her to the store to get stuff for the shop, she entered the driver's seat and sat down, I opened the car door and headed for the back seat.
She was like are you okay? I began to wonder where I might gone wrong all of a sudden, we stayed like that for about a good 15 minutes when she politely asked me to get out of her car which I did, and she asked me again to come in, I was beginning to think twice but still couldn't get the reason behind all the drama. I still enter the back seat of the car, she asked, where did you get this audacity from? It's like you're beginning to grow wings under my watch!
After much talk she came out from the driver's seat and sat at the back with me, I realized what she was talking about.
Another Great time I wanna share is about shy laughs! How I spoke to my crush for the first time, I could remember clearly that I was smiling sheepishly, he was asking what was funny but I was already on cloud nine as I was happy I could finally stand face to face with him. We had a great time because I got to know he was a soldier, so basically smiling wasn't his option and according to him it meant letting ones guard down; one must be alert all the time, he told me about some interesting camp tactics and the suicidal ones.
Conclusion |
---|
Most people do not understand the importance of laughing, it is good for our mental health, and also good for our physical health.
It's a good exercise as it releases the level of stress hormones like cortisol and on top of this, it helps burn calories.
So in whatever you do, do not forget to smile or even let anything keep you away from laughing out loud.
