I am thrilled to participate in this esteemed platform's contest, under the guidance of @suboohi I am quite confident that each photograph is full of a huge number of stories that are yet to be told. Being a storyteller I am fully convinced that pictures are capable of provoking imagination and obtaining certain feelings. Participating in this competition offers not only an opportunity to compose tales but also a chance to get deeper insights into the intricate depths of human experience encapsulated inside a single image.

This picture is not a mere photograph; it is a box of emotions and past experiences documented in the celebration of the first-ever Eid-ul-Fitr as a new family. Being a perfect illustration of a true parenting feeling, this photo is dear to me as it was taken when my baby was just twenty days old and it became a part of this cheerful occasion.

I recall the palpable anticipation in the atmosphere as I meticulously adorned my little child in a vivid crimson Panjabi and matching footwear, even though they were somewhat oversized for his tiny feet. However, his appearance in those mismatched proportions was undeniably charming, with his innocence and charm radiating from the frame. It served as evidence of the impromptu nature and affection that characterize our experience as parents.

Despite not being able to avail Eid leave my husband managed to spend some time with us making some of the moments of the trip very special which we cherished as the three of us. At home, we were enveloped with the smell of the bustle of local delicacies and the faint twinkle of the festoons giving a special feel to the place. Thus, laughing amid love and joyful togetherness, we recognized the value of family and the existence of more joyful celebrations in the future.

In that photograph, we are not just posing; we are accepting, or perhaps inviting the new phase of life into our lives. The background is reminiscing about our home which is decorated rather minimally but which indicates a festive season is approaching. All that remains are these vehement smiles that nay, they are pride, gentleness, and sheer gratitude for this wonderful parental blessing.

This picture is priceless – it signifies strength, hope, and a bond that we as a family forged in faith. It encapsulates our story, I love the fact that in each day we spend together I am made to see the beauty even in the mundane. One sees in it the picture that tells a lot about a thread that connects the past, the present, and the future that is so bright.
