What do you understand by the word Water?

Right from our childhood we habe been taught that “Water is Life. Indeed without water, nothing can go on. The natural substance which is vital in the earth’s composition and is termed as water. Life cannot go on without it. Seventy-five percent of the earth’s area is made up of water. It is neither bitter, nor smelling nor even coloured. It is affecting our lives in ways that are numerous. Water is not only used by us to drink but in almost each and every activity that we come across in our day to day life.

Water is such a vital necessity to life as is in the case of the live stocks and the wild life. Water is a basic need of all living things; plants, animals and even human beings. Some uses of water are as follows, water is used by plants to absorb it in order to survive, animals use water in digesting food, and so do we. Water is also used in our daily activities and it becomes impossible to exist without clean water.

What are the benefits of drinking water?

If someone we to ask you or me whether one could survive without water, the response would be negative. Without water practically drained out of one’s life.

It is very important to drink enough water because water is solely essential for the proper functioning of our body. It restores the body’s internal moisture; therefore, it keeps the body moist enough. Evidently, the human body cannot perform optimally without water and the scary thing is that we don’t even realize it. In conditions, when we used a lot of energy such as working hard or in hot weathers, water evaporates from the body. In return for that loss, particularly drinking water is essential otherwise skin and the body becomes weak. Also, water serves the purpose of thermal regulation as well as metabolism regulation in the body.

Water & Saline -Self Image1000000851.jpg

At present, the weather of Narayanganj district in Bangladesh has become very hot, and Personally, I can't tolerate heat. That is why I sometimes need to drink some saline water that makes me feel fresher than before.

Well, we all know that water is useful in washing out such unwanted things or unwanted waste products in body. When we take water, it goes into the kidneys as well as other ribs of the body and erases all the toxins that were in the body through urine. This helps to ensure that the internal functions of the human body remain sustainable hence healthy.

Water is required for breaking down food into smaller components. Water is very important to ensure that digestion process.

Water helps the skin to maintain its moisture hence helping it not to develop wrinkles in early age . Hair also need water and water keeps it healthy and not to cause some damages.

Water also has an important role in the process of weight loss. Occasionally I consume water with addition of lemon juice. This helps reduce weight to a large extent.

In conclusion, water is not just a tool to relief the thirst. It is involved in every process that goes on our bodies. Therefore, drinking adequate water daily has been deemed very vital since it serves as the natural energy all through.

Clean Water vs Coloured Water- Self image

Imagine if water had different colours. Indeed, what a thought. It is is quite an interesting one to think about.
If you have been following my Steemit posts, i said before that I do paint sometimes. That’s why when I am painting whenever I have to clean my brush I use water and the color of the water changes. I actually had this desire to write on this topic after the experience that I had.

It is interesting to think of what would change if water had colour. Many things would be different. The colour neutrality of water also holds a representation as a natural element of purity.

Imagine if water were colored, we shall experience difficulties in our day to day activities as explained below. For instance, while boiling or preparing to prepare a recipe, the water color may blend with food thus damaging the natural colors of the food.

Cleaning would also become more complicated. For example washing of clothes, dishes or even doing other chores around the house would be challenging because of the color of the water.

Another very big problem would be that of health because we cannot easily see that the water being used is contaminated. We would not be able to easily see this because our water would look cleaner even if it is contaminated.

However, colored water will only make some kind of beauty to the nature. For example waterfalls had blue or green water it may probably look magnificent, but the actual situation would be rather uncomfortable and rather complex.

Tell us a brief real life story concerning water.

Water crisis -My story

Now I’ll share a real experience involving water. It happened just four months ago. In Bangladesh, a cyclone named Remal struck. This happened in May. The cyclone primarily affected the coastal regions, but we felt its effects too. I was at my home in Narayanganj during that time. It rained continuously for 34 hours. We had no electricity. Even the roads around our house were flooded. Since there was no power, we couldn’t pump water into the tank. We faced such a severe water crisis that we had no water for cooking, bathing, or even drinking. We had to buy drinking water from stores. But due to the heavy rain, the roads were flooded, and most of the shops around us were closed. It was difficult to even buy water. You can surely understand the extent of the water crisis we experienced! Living without water at that time became extremely unbearable. I’ve never faced such a water crisis in my life.

I have one request for all of you—please, never waste water.
