Hello friends home and abroad warm regards to everyone, I'm Anthony from Nigeria and it's a pleasure to have you on my post, I'm delighted to engage in this week's amazing Contest titled: "One Picture And One Story" organized by ma'am @suboohi, which I am going to share with you all an amazing photograph and by doing well as telling a short story about it.

Before I proceed, I would like to thank @suboohi, especially for organizing this amazing contest and the community. Is an honor to be part of the participants.

Title: The Great Office Microwave Incident

It began on a typically normal Tuesday morning. The birds were singing, the coffee was perking, and the office was eerily still—until Todd in Accounting decided to heat up leftover fish in the microwave.

Now, Todd isn’t a bad guy. He’s actually quite nice and brings in donuts on Fridays. But his culinary decision that day would live in infamy. He slid his Tupperware container into the communal microwave, set it for five minutes (a suspiciously long time), and walked away with the casual confidence of a man who had no idea he was about to start a chain of events worthy of a sitcom.

By minute two, the smell began creeping out of the break room like a vengeful spirit. By minute three, the entire floor was filled with the unmistakable aroma of "Eau de Low Tide." People began emerging from their cubicles, noses wrinkled, eyes watering. Someone asked if something had died. Susan from HR looked genuinely concerned and started Googling "signs of chemical leaks."

Then the microwave beeped.

Todd returned, oblivious to the chaos. He opened the door, releasing a final puff of steam that may have made the potted plant in the corner wilt. That’s when Dave, our ever-dramatic IT guy, burst in with a fire extinguisher yelling, “I smell doom!”

A memo was issued by 3 p.m.: "Effective immediately, fish of any kind is banned from the microwave. Forever."

Todd still brings donuts on Fridays. We forgive—but never forget.

And the microwave? It never recovered.
