Linkin Park’s song, “In the End,” personal to me and really remind me of real life. I want to share an example now and that is since I am a Bangladeshi girl, I struggle everywhere. Right from the time when one is young, one is always pulled in the middle between the choice of doing what society wants them to do and choice of one’s dream. That is why I think this song describes that struggle so well from lyrics to melody.
"I tried so hard and got so far, but in the end, it doesn’t even matter."— This is how the song hits me right here. I have had a lot of effort in many occasions and purposes that had grand visions, but came out in vain. Balancing between studies, work and family becomes very tedious. It makes girls so busy with responsibilities that society imposes on them that one is forced to forget what they want. With this song being so good, I feel it is normal to feel this way because it is not a rare experience.

My feelings for this song |
---|
I like the music part of the song. Chester Bennington sings these emotional feelings so well while Mike Shinoda rapping makes the song very realistic. Every word from him as though he is telling people that life is unpredictable but we still have the strength to keep going. This song comforts me when things are not as expected. It says to me that no matter how distressing things are, it isn’t the final chapter.
The core of your post should focus on the impact this song has had on your life and your personal connection to it.
This is a familiar tale in my life when I attempted something with a total optimism and it failed. During those sometimes this song was useful for me to understand that everyone fails and it is okay. We cannot control everything in life, but that’s not to say that our actions were not worthwhile. This has helped me change my perception of life in some ways.
From listening to “In the End” I am able to grasp that no matter what happens, we should not stop. That is the strength this song affords: accepting failure and being able to continue.
